The year is 2020 (or 21, I forgor). I’m building a Lego city. Naturally, a city needs buildings. My idea? A cinema!
Obviously, a cinema needs a movie. Not long before, I had learned about a mysterious Lego character called Jack Stone and bought some of these sets out of curiousity. One of the sets came with a VHS containing the pinnacle of Lego entertainment: the Jack Stone movie. That’d be a great choice for my Lego cinema, wouldn’t it?
And so, it was made.
Have a good look and take in the buidling’s exquisite shaping and the high attention to detail.
Inside, there used to be seating for many customers (I needed those parts for something else).
The screen itself is reversible, allowing you to show two different scenes from the movie. This is truly the peak of engineering.
The best part have to be the decals, though. Check them out! The “CINEMA” and “tickets” signs have been carefully and thoughtfully designed in Word, then printed in the highest quality possible.
Here’s how it survived until now. After taking apart the city I just put it on the shelf and forgot about it, it’s been useful as a minifig display lately. It’ll presumably continue existing like this since I don’t need the parts right now.
Speaking of the city, why don’t we take a look at that to make this topic more worthwhile?
Some views of the city all around. Don’t think I need to explain much, you can look at the details yourself.
As a little bonus, my fabled Kohrak and spineless Hakann are visible in the background of one photo. As I’ve said before, these were my first (and at the time, only) Bionicle figures.
