The Custom Alternate Build/Combo Model Topic

It looks a bit messy overall, but I can understand that, seeing as most pieces from the Vahki were very specialized. The shaping of it is good and I appreciate the fact that the legs can actually move, unlike one of the canon Vahki combiners.

Ohhh boy have I made a few, but I’ll only share three right now, both because I don’t want to overload the thread with too many images all at once and because they’ve all been documented in my MOC thread. Regardless, here’s the Lerka, a dinosaur-like Rahi that Po-Matoran have been able to train to take riders:

As you can probably tell, it’s made from Pohatu and Lewa, and turning the gear on its back allows it to slash its claws up and down.

Next we have the Predatory Cat Rahi with Grasshopper Legs, which has also been termed the “pcr’wgl”.

This model is made from Gali and Onua, and turning the gear on its back slowly allows it to move its front legs up and down while turning its head side to side, as if it’s scanning for prey and stalking through the undergrowth.

Lastly, there’s a Brachiosaurus-like Rahi.

This model is built out of Tahu and Kopaka. (The front legs being so long is actually accurate to the real dinosaur- Brachiosaurus’s front legs were longer than the rear legs, hence its name meaning “arm lizard.” This has been your dinosaur fact of the day.)

Many thanks for my Daily Dose of Dinosaur Information. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s fact!

These guys are rough but are still kinda charming. For the parts that you had to work with, they’re not as bad as they could have been. The Tahu-Kopaka combiner has to be my favorite, it looks goofy yet genuine at the same time. The Gali-Onua combiner, though, could use some more love. The rear legs are a neat idea and I like that you tried to make them longer, but I think the other limbs included in the sets would have made for better rear legs.
