The Emotionoid

The Emotionoid robot is an AI operated mechanism designed to facilitate the needs of mental illness victims. Isolation can be a devastating exacerbation of these illnesses, including the emotional duress experienced by veterans of bat-bug wars. The Emotionoid is designed to be a full time friend and therapist for those who need more social support than usual.

Violent situations are rare in Rat Nation, but they do occur from time to time. However, these scenarios may be detrimental to the healing process of certain trauma victims, so the Emotionoid is equipped to defend it’s patient/friend should the need arise.

Once the trauma victim’s emotional health has been facilitated to the point of self-support, a given Emotionoid is granted full citizenship. It may pursue it’s own life, or accept more patients for as long as it chooses.
