Though to be alone isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it gives time for self reflection and generally a chance to look at what you can do to improve or benefit yourself in the long run.
So here is a topic where you can discuss how to make the most of being alone. What do you do to occupy your time and how do you take your mind off what is troubling you?
Yes, I walk on the city streets on the boulevard of broken dreams quite often. Part of me loves it because it’s less annoying and part of me hates it because I tend to get lonely. eh, until I find some to walk besides me I guess my shallow hear will be the only one besides me.
But whenever I feel down, I think about the fact that I have friends I trust and about happy stuff. Like Lego.
And I listen to music.
I listen to music all the time, though.
But, in the end, I never really feel alone.
I have friends and family I trust, and that’s cool.
I don’t do much when alone.
I sit and think.
And while thinking, I smile.
I smile that I have a while.
Only interrupted when I blink.
I laugh while it echos around my home.
And that is what I do.
Make sure that if you are writing this up on a computer that you make back-ups. Had a similar idea to do a book a while back, and unfortunately lost it due to computer issues.
I am without a romantic relationship and am perfectly fine with that. I have never had a crush anyway, so I’m alright.
I did have issues with making new friends here in China.
I appreciate solitude. Gives me freedom, room to breathe, time to think, rather than focussing my thoughts on trying to accommodate to social customs. I personally think that humans think less when around each other.
