Hello everyone on the Boards!
Well, Spring has finally, well…sprung up!
So to celebrate it’s arrival, I decided to get some pictures of some of my Mata-vamps outside in their natural habitats!
Enjoy!
A beautiful day in Le-Wahi!
The Toa of Air finds solace in relaxing under the branches of the trees!
But as he looks up at the brilliant sun, something wells up inside him. A desire to go higher than even the Gukko birds could fly!
The Toa stands ready to begin his ascent, but…
It would not be a walk in the village…
Stroke after stroke he climbs, his axe sinking deeper into the soft inside of the tree’s trunk.
What’s the saying?- Don’t look down.
He nears a fallen branch, his ordeal nearly over.
Made it! At least…this far. He catches a brief respite before starting again.
Could it be a finer day to stand taller than the trees?
Unfortunately, the higher you climb, the longer you fall (yes, Lewa did fall out of the tree!).
The Toa of Air awakes moments later. Thankfully he was able to use his Mask of Levitation to soften his fall…a little. But where did it?-
He spots it, but…a disturbance in the earth…claws?
Ah, it is but humble Onua coming up to investigate the incident!
The Toa of Earth explains that Lewa’s fall was loud enough to be heard all the way down in Onu-Wahi!
Picking up the Toa’s Miru and handing it to him, Onua mentions how often he seems to save Lewa from the worst situations!
Alas, he must return now to the subterranean lands he calls home, but the two will meet again. Onua goes now to visit a friend in the desert.
And who could it but Pohatu, the Toa of Stone?
Days in the sun tend to wear out the eyes!
Going for a run!
But, something lurks above in the treetops!
A really bad edit of this photo!
The Hunter searches for his prey…
He is known for never missing his target…
