“Big circle where you smash molecules against each other and walls at high speeds.”
“Oh. No, I already know about them. One of them is now a mushroom farm.”
“You think you could take a hit from one?”
“Of course.”
“Excellent!” Said the voice as another pincher dropped down from above and dragged Knight off.
Knight just lets it happen, not struggling.
The pincher eventually drops Knight into a large curved hallway, that knight couldn’t see either end of it. “Welcome to the Lab’s very own particle accelerator. We make good science here.”
“Ok.” Knight simply surveys the hallway. “No mushrooms here.”
“Shut stand there to the side as the partial accelerator warms up. So that molecule doesn’t hit you prematurely.”
“Ok.” Knight stands to the side as instructed. “I doubt you’d let me disobey anyways.”
“Great job! Have a cookie!” Replied the voice cheerfully as a metal box dropped from the ceiling.
“I don’t eat food like this.”
“Meh. Do with it as you will.” Replied the voice as a bright dot shot through the hallway several times getting faster and faster.
“When will I be able to move?”
“When that light turns green” said the voice gesturing to a nearby bulb.
“Ok.” Knight watches the light.
The light flashed on just as the light shot through the hallway," Go Go now!"
Knight steps in the way of the speeding light, letting it hit him unbraced and unprepared. Nothing happens.
"A slow sarcastic clapping noise was heard,“You know? I was hoping for something a little more spectacular. Any who, tests or experiments?”
“There isn’t enough mass in the particles flying around the hall to damage a normal organism. They would most likely have a extremely high dose of radiation in the area where the beam hit, but otherwise he would be fine.”
