A few days back I was doing some cleaning, and found something unexpected behind the shelf: a 25€ gift card for a local department store! I had gotten it for christmas 2021, and it must’ve slipped down the back of the shelf. Luckily it had no expiration date.
Went to the store today, got me these two sets.

The robot is alright, I like the colors and overall look, however it has no knees and the hands downright suck. Doesn’t matter though, I’m gonna mod and improve it anyways!

The buggy is an awesome little model. Looks great and the steering mechanism is so fun! As a bonus, it uses CCBS armor add-ons on the spoiler! It also provides a decent value for its price, definitely recommend.

Got the new mainline Transformers one figures today.

While I am glad we’re getting good movie mainline figures I kinda think these toys are too good; why should I buy any of the future SS versions of these guys?

Well, Optimus at least has additional ankle articulation in his new SS figure, as well as rotating wrists. But if articulation is no concern, then the mainline figure would be fine.

I’ll still watch reviews to see how the SS versions are but other then maybe a SS alpha trion I don’t feel desperate that I need to upgrade.

Picked these two up from Target for $5 each this past 4th of July when I went to visit family. Arcee (on the left) is all right, but I’m not crazy about the wheels just dangling off her robot mode’s legs and back. Ironhide (on the right) is much better.

Out of curiousity I bought myself one of the newer miniforce mecha. Size aside why cant we get power ranger zords even a fraction this solid in the west? especially since I got the set for 90$ only a little more then what hasbro was charging for the cosmic fury megazord.

I have several months of stuff to show. Mainly because my family keeps dumping their junk in my photo area. I had to improvise with a small table and a hand camera to get most of the photos here.
The only photos I did not take are the ones for the swords I got, as black on black is not very photogenic.

Seiken Sword driver, Haouken Xross Saber, Kougouken Saikou, Dogouken Gekido, and most of the books. The only one I was expecting was GaikotsuNinjaden, while everything else was “lost” in the mail about 4 years ago. I ended up getting refunds after the delivery services could not find them… and they suddenly show up now.
Anyway, more old Toku Stuff:

Thundersaurus Megazord with the Dino Stegazord set, and a mostly complete Thunder Gridman.
Next transformers:

Legacy Animated Prime, Legacy Nucleus, Armada Tidalwave and Legacy Tidalwave. Sence I now own both Tidalwaves, I can say with confidence: the og Armada is slightly better.

Moderoid Villkiss, HG Gawain, and some megalomaria kits.

Pop up parade Ryuko (L), Pup Zero Two, Amiibo Samus (Varia and Zero Suit), and sh figuarts As.

And to finish off, a comical coincidence: Last week, I ordered some combining robot toys from AliExpress, Specifically, the same Miniforce set @Khalsa721 showed off in the post before mine.

I find this coincidence a little amusing.

It really is such a great set though it would’ve been pretty cool if since they form the legs pink and yellow could also combine into a big convoy looking vehicle with the feet bottoms as as helipad.

got me some new shoes, since Im on my feet all the time and my last ones were really on their way out anyways says me, other people say they have holes in the side. I ignore those people. decided to get some hikers since I need better ankle support than what Ive got now, and as a bonus theyre waterproof

also got me a bunch of connectors and a battery for hobby stuff (no I dont do RC (yet)), including one that isnt pictured since I already put it away with my charger (XT-60 to XT-30 adapter, since my charger is a dual-bay XT-60 charger instead of the more common leads with different ends kind, and Im expecting to need a battery with an XT-30 at some point down the road)

I’ve seen this version floating around and I must ask, what’s the draw of having these legendary masks runeless? less clutter? does it come out cleaner than the runed version?
