Load (1996) OR Reload (1997)?
Both albums are incredibly underrated and probably represent the last great studio albums Metallica will ever personally make and both albums were unfairly panned by metal purists who couldnāt get over the fact that their metal heroes got new haircutsā¦but which album is the better of the two and why?
Iām personally going with Load because I heard it all the way through first and always considered it a superior and far more consistent album as it only has a few skippable tracksā¦while ReLoad has a bunch.
And plus, Loadās hit singles are far more iconic and superior to ReLoadās singles.
