Recently I’ve been getting into racing with mini 4wd against my brother on our little race track at home after fixing a few of the old used ones I bought a long time ago.
So what do you think of them? Do you like them? Do you race them? Do you collect them? Do you have any tip or trick that you want to share?
Oh I think they’re really fun! We have 3 of them, and while I don’t actively collect or race with them, I enjoy giving them a go every once in a while. Seeing what obstacles they can tackle is always fun.
I’ve been into it a few different times in my life, albeit not so invested I know much about them. The last one I had I dressed up to look like my real truck, including a tiny ladder rack and side stakes to match the custom ones I built. I’ve since sold the lot because I just don’t have time anymore, but those things are always fun to run around an old parking lot or dirt track.

Red is in a really rough shape, it’s been like that ever since a ~5 year old Bioman was allowed to play with it. Black still looks impeccable, despite sharing the same fate many years ago.
The third one’s a Tamiya Falcon Junior, it’s over at my grandparent’s house (image from the internet).
And while it’s technically not a mini 4WD, I’d count this Joustruck unimog too. It’s small, motorized, has 4 wheel drive and it’s hella fast.
