Basically, create a moc based on a mythical creature.
I expect more than just dragons, there are so many different mythical creatures from so many cultures. lamia, centaurs, wendigo, oni, just to name a few more well known examples.
The rules:
-you have two weeks, use it, don’t just slap something together, I expect nice looking, decently built mocs, even if you build something in a day, spend a few days refining it, once you enter that’s it, no updates.
-I’d prefer to not have this spill out into the rest of the cc, post your moc here, whether directly or deeplinked from imgur/Flickr.
-photos need to be front, back, and side(sides if asymmetrical), plus one optional additional shot, please have good lighting and clear images, if I can’t tell what’s going on the moc can’t be judged.
your moc will be judged as such:
10-build
-5-construction
-3-flow
-2-color scheme
5-creativity
For a total possible score of 15
I should point out, I won’t be the only judge.
The winner gets an art, pretty much whatever they want me to draw, within reason. Sorry, that’s the best I got.
I won’t say it’s not allowed, but it does kinda give people an advantage if they had a head start.
Obviously if it hasn’t been posted I can’t tell, but I would say, if you spent more than the time frame(2 weeks) on it, it’s a bit unfair to other entrants.
I’ll enter. Although, define mythical- do you mean ancient, like minotaurs and cimaras, or could I do something like a sasquatch or a chupacabra or the like?
This is my BIONICLE INTERPRETATION of the mythical beast known as the Krampus (or the Christmas Devil (I don’t have a picture of it atm, so just Google it)). I built this a while back and I thought it would be perfect for this contest, although I am not sure if you want the MOCs to be freshly built. The Krampus in mythology is supposedly a goat-like being (sort of like the Pope-Lick Goatman (again, go look it up)) that works with Santa and punishes the naughty children by beating them with a stick and dragging them in a sack to Hell (Wikipedia). If you Google the Krampus, you will see it as having black fur, again, this is my BIONICLE INTERPRETATION of it, I know it is supposed to be black, I simply wanted to give it an interesting color scheme. So, here you go (I hope I win):
