The Nexo Knights Topic

I saw a kid flying Aaron around on his hoverboard today  Made me smile.

Now if only we could see kids flying Lewa or Tahu around… That would really make me smile… :frowning:

I did see some kids talking about the new Bionicle once at a shop… don’t know if they bought them though

The next season airs on August 13th!

Just got General Magmar’s siege machine of doom…and it is absolutely lovely. Really good build, looks excellent from all angles, the functions are awesome. My favourite nexo knights set so far…although to be fair I don’t have too many of them because I was focusing on bionicle.

I also got the set, really fun! Only thing I wish it had was a little more space to put characters, although with the function in mind that isn’t really possible. I managed to fit in 4 characters reasonably.

I love how function heavy the Nexo Knights sets are. The theme really feels like a spiritual successor to BIONICLE, what with all the collectable nexo powers, insane functions, and the combining of two contrasting elements (medieval fantasy and sci-fi). I gotta say, this is the best system theme to ever come out of LEGO. I mean, a robot horse that turns into a motorcycle? That’s freaking sick!

so based on what just2good said about the 2017 Nexo Knight sets. It would seem that Nexo Knights are going into space.

Que obvious joke:

but anyway, i really don’t understand this, if its true, why go into space? it makes no sense. Personaly i think this is really stupid.

Chima did not change the location for no reason in their run, they where first in Chima, then in the Outlands and then back to Chima.

Nexo Knights on the other hand desided to go from Knightopia (or whatever it was called again) to space. Even Ninjago have not gone into space (before you all say that they did in season 3, i would like to remind people that it was only happend in the show, they never released a Ninjago set that was set in space).

To be 100% fair, just2good also believed those fake Power Rangers leaks a while ago.

But he’s been right plenty of times before

So I won’t linger on that.

However, if it is true, it’s hardly fair to say “for no reason” when we’re not even solid on the story info we’re getting this next year, IMO.

additionally

nailed it.

I wonder what “Action” stands for. I hope it means we’ll be getting some Constraction sets, or “Buildable Figures” next year. And if we do, I really hope that Axl has some trans. yellow!

I always thought NK should have had a more Space setting to begin with, so the possibility of that is nice.

Really disappointed Jestro is still the villain though. He’s a fun bad guy, but you can only take him so far. Especially if they keep doing the mind control thing.

Jestro is not really mind controled, he is manipulated. a mere pawn to the Book of Monsters.

LEGO stated that there where no constraction figures that where going to take Bionicle’s place. “Action” might just mean that they have some new special features like what the Ultimate Knights had.

Not at all. At first he has manipulated and kind of forced into the situation against his own will, but the book of evil pretty much twisted his mind and at the end of season one The Book of Monsters used the powers of a book he had beast master secretly find in order to keep Jestro evil and get rid of his sensitivities for good. Jestro’s such a tragic character man. Then again, Lavaria’s in love with him so, that’s a pretty worthwhile trade off.

nope, the book was the book of revenge, but realy Jestro does not seem to change as much. And really i bet that the “revenge” fealings will be gone in season 2 and jestro just returns to how he was before that. Given how the trailer for season 2 looked like.

I like it, for once in a lego the main villain is the actual main villain and not some guy behind the scenes using each years big bad villain as a pawn. Im guess that it will be new monsters each year, but its nice not to have another theme with throw away main villains.

I like the sound of ‘action sets’ if they’re something like mechs for the knights or especially ccbs (however unlikely). The other sets sound…underwhelming, though obviously we have to wait for images to form opinions.

Don’t know why everyone’s so fixated on the space idea, though. I see it as a description rather than hard proof of the knights going to space. As someone on Eurobricks said, it could be underwater suits that were interpreted as space suits.

The Nexo Knight’s aren’t going to Space.

Take a look at this map:

It doesn’t say it directly on there but the region in the top right is called Rockland. Note the ruined structures. Ruina, anyone? I also suspect the Triple-Rocker lives in a mountain rather than Space.

In conclusion, they’re Rock Monsters.

Because we all know LEGO just loves to give out confidential information for future sets while they’re trying to sell current sets. /s

Even if they WERE going to have Nexo Knights constraction next year, they wouldn’t tell us.

I expect the focus will be on the Lego Batman movie and Ninjago’s movie next year - then perhaps in summer next year or maybe even 2018 we’d see another CCBS line.

Nexo Knights would make the most sense to have a form of ‘action figure’ line-up - given the history of the theme and the previously introduced functions that would work incredibly well with knights.

I feel these;

Action Macy (70363)
Action Aaron (70364)
Action Axl (70365)
Action Lance (70366)

Are definitely likely to end up being CCBS or action figure sets similar to previous knights themes such as Knights Kingdom.
