The overgrown Leviathan

Entry for the Duckbricks Wavebuilt contest.

The overgrown Leviathan is an ancient aquatic warmachine. Who built it and for what reason is lost to time.

For most people its like it has always roamed the seas. But it hasnt always been exactly like this. A long time ago it was an ordinary bio mechanical warmachine, yet ages without maintenance made it vulnerable to a parasitic plant that slowly decayed and replaced the organic tissue in its construction, becoming so vast that its growing back out of the metallic shell in many places.

Effectively taking full control of the beast and all its systems. Including weaponry. The purple energies of the plant now flow through the entire collosal machine.

Speaking off weaponry: The Leviathan is outfitted with massive jaws that can close around many submarines, large spinning sawblades that can cut through even the thickest hulls as well as a pair of energy weapons it can unfold from its torso:

All that combined make the Leviathan a serious threat to anyone traveling the seas. As the plant is more than happy to use each of those against anyone it decides isnt welcome near it.

The many armor plates you used fit together surprisingly well. I also like that the purple bits weren’t smattered in random places wherever there was room - you kept them a bit more sparce and it feels a bit more “natural” because ofthat.

I think my one complaint is that there isn’t a lot of purple on the back, specifically on the surface behind the Rahkshi spine. If possible, maybe put a brick plate there with some trans-purple tiles?

On the topic of the Rahkshi spine, I wonder how it would look with the Pearl Light Gray cover instead of this Pearl Dark Gray one (if you have one).

That is indeed a really scary and cool MOC you made. I wonder how many minutes it took you to finishing this bad boy.
