Oh my gosh, I loved Liberty’s Kids. We have it on DVD. Does not hold up too well under my critical eye. but it is super nostalgic and neat.

Liberty’s Kids was great. You should check out Redwall too. It’s an older show and it didn’t last very long but it’s got some quality writing. Think Chima but more drama and characterization.

Dragon Tales man. That was the stuff, the sweet nectar of children’s TV that pushed me through my early years.

This one has watched a lot of PBS Kids in its youth. It misses the old days.

Sends virtual high-five

I’m surprised no one’s mentioned Bill Nye the Science Guy, though!

Others that I haven’t seen mentioned are Theodore Tugboat, the obligatory Thomas the Tank/Shining Time Station, and Sagwa.

Yea, nobody else also mentioned Wild Kratts besides me.

Ah, I remember getting home 'round 4 PM to sit down at the TV (that still had antennae- Canceled our cable) and watched PBS kids until the block ended.

Good times.

I feel like I’ve seen the character of Sagwa before, but I don’t remember ever watching the show

I actually did watch two episodes of that recently. It’s not as good as I remember it. They did the same gag three times. You don’t do the same gag twice, let alone three times. You move onto the next gag.

Yea, had to watch a Bill Nye video for science.

It’s only good with nostalgia glasses on.
