“HA! I’m my own sun!”
“We of Redwood seek not selfish fools like yourself…selfishness leads to darkness and eventually to your downfall…” The Stranger said.
Something howled from afar.
“We should move…the people-eaters shall be upon us soon…” The stranger said, extinguishing the fire by simply moving his hand. He would quickly grab his sword and run away alongside a small pathway.
Chiller sees the others.
OOC: Can he see them?
OOC: They are on the same place.
“ha me and my kind are Death, but if you think we should move” he slowly follows keeping hold of his knife
“People eaters won’t enjoy my taste. I’m tough and chewy.” Nexus calmly walks down the path leisurely.
“STOP ARGUING!” Chiller exclaims, still whispering.
The stranger waves at the bunch to follow.
Nexus can see several tall shadows in the distance behind him, closing in rapidly.
He sees them too.
Colrar glares at Chiller as he makes his unexpected arrival. He then sees the shadows and his eyes glint
Colrar sees them too.
Nexus looks back and sees them. He tries rebooting his shield again.
“Hey.” Chiller sits down, and searches for a tendon or something he can fix the two massive bones together.
It works for a while…but terribly.
The tall beings are closing in, jumping from trees to ground and the other way around.
Colrar grabs Chiller and drags him with the group as the shadows advance, keeping his eye on the shadows
The said two seem to be loosing them, Nexus is only several hundred feet away from them. They are close.
Winter stands up using the stick and sees the shapes closing in on him “Well as much as I’d love to stay for lunch I don’t think I’d enjoy eating what’s on the menu so bye!” Winter starts hobbling away
“Yay!” He turns and walks backwards firing lasers at the ghouls.
“Get… yo… hand… off me.” Chiller finally breaks free, and catches up to the others.
“you’re welcome”
They easily dodge every single one of his attacks. While the rest was smart enough to run away - Nexus was not.
As he is busy firing his lasers another shadowy aberration strikes him from the side, slamming him into a tree.
