Yes, there are actually two swinging trap functions, one at the door, and another one on the way to the pedestal.

This looks so epic!! Have you build the trap functions with real bricks (and maybe even made a video of it)? I’d love to see them in action!

There is no way I would be able to build this whole thing with real bricks, but the traps themselves shouldn’t be that hard.
But the function itself doesn’t work much differently from how it does in existing sets that use it:
