The Watcher (self Moc V.2)

It was a windy night, but Narmoto couldn’t care less. He just wanted to finish his soup in peace. Unfortunately that was not to be. There was a knock at his door and when he opened it he found one of the village guardians accompanied by three bizarre figures.
“Found these folks wandering lost” grunted the villager “they want to speak to you”
“Thank you friend, I will speak to them” said Narmoto.
He lead the figures into his house and asked them what their business was.
One of the figures pulled down his hood. He had a blue bird head with a bright red crest. He opened his beak to talk.
“Hi, my name is Avios and me and my friends aren’t…from around here”
Narmoto started to feel uncomfortable
“We don’t have much time so I just wanted to ask if you have seen a tall dark guy who teleports about?”
" you speak of the ghost we call the watcher" said Narmoto with alarm. “He has attacked all the Toa except from Tahu and we fear we are next”
“Do you have any idea where his ghost might be?” Asked Avios.
The wind intensified outside.
“No but I’m very sure he know where we are”

So this is a the majorly upgraded version of my self Moc. It is not new but it has been improved so much since I first posted this Moc that I think it deserves its own topic (I want it to be separate to the unfinished looking thing in the original topic)

Here we go:

Just chilling…

From the back you can see the most drastic change. I scrapped the flick missiles that used to be in his chest and put in some technic beams so he can store his green grenades away more efficiently because in the old version you had to Fire the flick missiles to release the grenades, it was messy.

This is that new and improved feature. Open the flaps and pull down the lift arms and then you can take the grenades (trans greenish yellow cylinders) out for combat.he can hold the grenades but I forgot to photograph it. I’ll try and remember to show you what that looks like some time.

Side/ back shot cos I could.

My favourite function of this Moc- the flip out arm blades!

Recycled size comparison from the old topic. My, look at that gap-tastic lower torso! Awful! At least I didn’t forget to do a size comparison this time

So that’s it. I still haven’t changed the arm proportions (Lol) but I will eventually. Blue pins exist and I hate them but they are unavoidable these days.
Constructive critism is appreciated as usually!

EDIT: link to original topic here. The backstory posted there still applies to the updated version.

I don’t know why… but to me this MOC looks like a Great Spirit Robot possessed by @Eljay

Back on topic, I really like how it looks. My only complaint would be about the lower legs, they look chicken-like.

Never thought about it like that before but I can definetly see what you mean XD
The lower legs are kind off weird but I just roll with them

Also, thanks @Hafynx !

I love this MOC. I just have to ask, why the Hordika feet? It looked like you were trying to go for a more slender approach with the build and then decided to forget it altogether as you went up. It may sound like a con, but I actually really like this MOC because of it . I think you could fix it by making the upper body a tad bit slimmer.

That moment when you cannot take the mask seriously.
Overall a good moc.

Love the color scheme, build, and the flip-out blades! Wouldn’t want to run into him on a dark night…

I gave him the stars feet mainly because I had no idea what I was doing when I built this. It is my first Moc to use G1 bionicle and technic parts, so I was a noob. I can see what you mean about the torso but I don’t think I can change it without sacrificing the grenade function. Nonetheless, thank you for your constructive critism @Vyran_Kal !

@LurkingEhlek I think I built this before the Miru really started to become joke. I liked how intimidating and angry it looked. I cri evry tim

@Kiixaar thankyou Good sir!

Why. stars feet shouldn’t be used for anything but armor.

I disagree. Stars feet are the most amazing pieces in Lego history! They should be used for everything but armour! /s

I got to admit this looks great.
The legs though look long.

This guy is so cool. I love the leges, but i think you should make the arms slightly longer. other then that i really love this guy. 10/10.

#This really make’s me want to buy the parts so i can make Darth’s Kaiju form but have no money right now ahhhhh!!!

Thanks! I’m still tinkering with the arms but I haven’t really made any progress…yet. Good luck with the Kaiju form!

Pretty good, though it’s kind of too tall and thin. I lover the torso, but the legs feel too spindly.
Overall, I do think it’s very nice.
