I, too, am getting Xenoblade X. Though I stubbornly refer to it as “Xenoblade Cross”, since that sounds a lot cooler. Also, I am now watching the finale of ChuggaaConroy’s let’s play of it, and the ending is gewd.

Common misconception, it’s actually based on “We must press on and on and on!”. I could see how you could make the mistake though.

Well, I beat it in a 60 hour run (of course it was segmented. I got a new 3ds, my old one was starting to break) on launch, and I think I’m gonna start a new file and actually do a lot of the sidequests this go round.
Let me just say a spoiler-less play through of the game creates an RPG experience like no other. Upon hearing the title screen I kinda just sat there waiting for the loop to finish, the song used really presents the giant world that awaits. In general the soundtrack is amazing, the only complaint I have with it is the lack of a few more boss themes. I’d say it’s definitely the best game I’ve ever played, even outside it’s respective genre.
As a tip, if you ever see this for Wii, buy it asap no questions asked, if you have a new3ds… Well you get the point…

It’s out on Wii U virtual console for $20! Go buy it, it’s totally worth it! 
And to some degree I think Bionicle is similar to it in terms of the world

I’m imagining a Meso and Eljay play through of this game, and it would be hilarious. Both of them would get lost because Eljay wouldn’t know where to go for a change.
