Just some quick fun builds. Not much in the way of custom constructions, mainly just Inika style builds but detailed to all heck.
I wanted to imagine what the Mahri would be like a good time into the Reformation era.
Jaller.
Jaller is mostly the same as his Aquatic version. However I did want to streamline the design and make it more suited to the land. Also wanted to incorporate elements of the Inika design with the gold details and the new sword. Lastly wanted a way to add his original Hau since he got it back, so he now keeps it as an accessory.
Lastly I couldn’t find any info that says if he kept his Hahnah crab when they got back so his little crabo is here too.
Nuparu
Nuparu has kept much of his Mahri design as well but Nuparu being the way that he is I wanted to make it really show that he has modified his Armor and mask a lot. Painting his mask to his original Orange colour and adding a pair of welding goggles.
He also took on a welding gun as his primary arm but added a pair of back arms for his shield and the Earth Claw on the other side.
Hahli
Hahli hasn’t changed much I slimmed her frame down a bit and turned the fins into wings, also replaced her claw with a Harpoon.
Kongu
Kongu has just been bulked up and had a serious armour upgrade. As well as hints to his Matoran colours with the Azure.
He has still kept his duel Cordak blasters which are now shoulder mounted, he also duel wields crossbows now.
Hewkii
As we all know the set version of Hewkii was a mess, so he needed a lot of work. Unlike the others he is mostly different to the set but I still wanted to keep many of his distinct features and I feel that he looks decent. Hewkii now wields a large Halberd/Axe.
Macku
Nobody can replace Matoro but I like to think that upon becoming a Toa Hewkii would insist that she be allowed to join the team as an honorary member.
Macku wears the mask of direction that allows her to find any location, it acts almost like a compass pointing a straight line to the location or object. She also wields a duel ended trident and a Rhotuka shield.
