With the amount of pieces I’ve gathered from other teams, I decided to take a personal swing at the Toa Metru. My mission goal: to keep the toa at their toy accurate stature, and give them color schemes similar to how they looked in the movie.
Nokama was probably my favorite. I always chuckle that she’s a taller toy despite being the shortest in the movie. With her silvery blue chest plates and shoulders, I managed to match the spread of colors with the silver pieces. I also changed her eye color to light blue since they are blue in the movie.
Matau was simple, his movie colors stick to the green besides a more silver chest plate. I gave him the one I usually use for Tuyet.
Nuju was another favorite of mine. In the movie his chest is mostly white. It’s the shoulder and crotch plates specifically that are silver, with darker mechanics in some places. He really is bulky for a scholar.
For Onewa… I gave him a brown chest plate and orange eyes. I don’t like Onewa, 'nuff said.
Whenua, largest in the movie but shortest in toy form. In the movie he just had a silver chest plate, so I gave him the silver metru chest.
And Vakama, the maskmaker. I started by giving him more fiery eyes and heartlight, then the plainer gold armor. In the movie, his chest and shoulders were orange, so this feels about as close as I can get without painting.
At last, I have perhaps reached the greatest I’ve ever felt about my Lhikan. The visorak feet add just the right amount of bulk I think.
Of course, a classin scene recreation just because.
And like any good Lhikan, he can surf.
Now the toa metru are not locked to a single color. In my head at least, It feels like they’ve got a bit more life in them now.

Interesting way Nuju is holding that crystal Spike.

Nice touches. I like the way you spiced up the builds.
