Toa Nidhiki

Excuse the lighting on the images and the one grey thigh, if I wanted another metru green one I’d have to disassemble my nidhiki.
I tried to make his toa form closely resemble his mutated form, with colour mimicking and specifically his shoulders, which is only very slightly adapted from his mutated form.

I actually like this a lot, good job!

Shoulders are a clever design, good job

Yo I would have never thought of giving Nidhiki the same shoulders as his mutated form-these work perfectly. With a cleaner scythe and perhaps better arms this totally has my vote!

I’ve been thinking about swapping the arms cause the elbow connection on hands doesn’t rly work for a two handed weapon. The scythe I’ve tried to keep the rubber beam so the staff of light could still have a flicking function, but the support necessary for the pressure may not be worth it. Thanks for the input!

I’d vote for it if it had a volitak. Although maybe something like the dark green mata arms from matau hordika would look more natural idk

I have a volitak but his mask isn’t silver and I don’t rly want to go painting it.

fair enough. are we sure its not silver in canon tho? kinda like how lhikans hau matches his metalic armor. odds are art contest will make it a volitak anyways either in green or silver. also if you want a green volitak, do you have a 3d printer?

the shape of the mask rly isn’t important in the MOC stage cause even if u use a volitiak, the artwork will feature a non-mahri volitak. So since the mask is changing the colour blocking is far more important in seeing if the MOC works well.

fair enough. if you can afford to 3d print a volitak i think it might help your chances of winning but if not moc still looks good.

altho i know the arm you used is meant to emulate the main nidiki set, i dunno if this arm might look better just a suggestion

I’ve thought about using them but still only have one in metru green, I’m also worried they will look a bit scrawny angled forwards.

aight well just something to think about. mask wise, here is a 3d print file from KhingK’s thingsverse if you need it: Kanohi Volitak, Great Mask of Stealth by KhingK - Thingiverse. I’m fairly certain his masks are allowed in the contest.
