I wanted to make something like Tahu’s Stars form, but with gears and a totally custom build, with technic parts only, since I’ve used CCBS parts in all my MOCS so far. I don’t actually own Stars Tahu, just the mask… So I went to work and it turned out nothing like the figure at all… I don’t have any orange parts at all, just red, so the colour scheme is… eh.
I got the custom build going, though, and the gear function is in there too.
Two out of three is fair enough, right?

Yessir! There’s not a lot of friction, though :C
It’s got no room for additional gears, so all the friction comes from the 1x3 grey pin that the middle gear is attached to!

I would love to see a slightly more refined MOC with this same aesthetic.

Man this is so cool! It’s like Tahu combined with Onua, pretty neat. The color scheme looks great, I don’t think it needs much orange. The build is really nice and very unqiue. If this set was the actual Tahu Star it would be way better.
