Hello,
I’m newish, and I thought I’d share some of my favorite models that I’ve made. I’m a CCBS/Technic hybridist, if you will.
There is a long story that connects most of my MOCs. Basically, Trin, a toa of fire, was briefly possessed by a spirit called the Soul Hunter. The spirit left his body energized with new power, and when he regained control he became a very powerful ally to his toa team.

The green arm looks good but is kinda distracted

The use of maroon as the accent color works really well here. And I’m really diggin’ that blaster weapon! What’s the idea behind the glowing arm/hand - is that a shield or a melee weapon of some kind?
Nice MOC, It looks like it has an interesting build. My question is, did he take Vakama and where him as armor?

It won’t be just old MOCs, I’ll have new ones eventually.
The chest could use more dark red to better distribute the color, but this looks good otherwise.

The arm serves as a melee weapon/blade. In story, in can change forms into other weapons.

Looks rather good, yet I find the blockiness of the technic to clash way too harshly with the smooth, angular CCBS pieces in certain places.
Yeah, with CCBS and Technic hybrids, that can happen. I guess it’s just a stylistic choice that depends on the person.
man how long have you been mocing, if youre newish then its pretty gud, but while the mocs pretty nicely filled in the “blockiness” is real in some areas like the torso and legs. Its prettyy cool but it looks a bit awkward to me. no hatee mate
