Toa Vakama, Legend of Metru Nui

This MOC is my interpretation of Toa Vakama, trading his disc launcher for an arm cannon, and also the ability to reconfigure it into some type of blade. (Think Bayformers transforming weapon nonsense but cool!)

Unfortunately it will be apparent to Lego enthusiasts a lot of this (at least 30% with the power of lazy guesstimates) is Gobricks, and not real Lego. The mask itself is a Mata Red cast I found on Aliexpress sold by KennieDIY. I have no personal qualms about mixing authentic and bootlego, and am loving how I can achieve what I had in mind for this regardless of the moral quandary.

This Vakama is more or less suited to my personal aesthetic tastes, I love all kinds of various Japanese mecha stuff and if you can name it, it probably helped inspire this in some way.

A thing i’m proud of is the articulation, especially the ab/waist offering much freedom for posing.

Superhero landings are possible and I think they look great!

Thanks for looking!

I love this! There is one question I have, though: how did you get the Vahi to attach to Vakama’s mask?
