I have been playing space Marines 2 and I have been getting into more of the lore of the space Marines, and all I have to say is the game is amazing and the amount of detail and customization options are almost unlimited.
I wanted to build my own space marine, specifically a salamander or dragon warriors. But due to the parts I have at the time, I decided to build something similar to my buddies blood angel build and some features I added. I bought instructions from a YouTuber you may know by now, if not here’s his YouTube channel. I did upgrade some areas of the build to fix so minor issues. But otherwise than that the build is solid and pretty poseable.
I tried to recreate the blood drop a lot of the blood angels have on their shoulder cauldron. I built two due to my buddies design and another space marine design
I was waiting for a new pick a brick order to arrive, and thankfully I live near by now. I rounded out some areas and used some more bright red parts in places that were needed. I kept the other areas stayed the same. Aside from that I built bolter that fits in these hands by ziontyro’s custom wears. Also someone asked me about Vindicta size is Obtuse too those who know the lore.
I also built this Crystal goblet due to the blood angle drinking blood, I was going to build it in gold, but the part I needed for the top part was out of stock and I haven’t seen the part listed for a while.
I also took pictures of the chain sword up close so if anyone would like to use it, you’ll need a few newer parts and a long flex tube or others long lightsaber parts.
I upgraded the inner body mainly do to the joints that I have for the original torso are pre-owned and have been played with to death. So I built a torso of the same size and made it look more like the space Marines inner suit that connects them to their armor.
I usually listen to music, to help me focus, but it also helps me envision what I’m building.

I also used the translucent red beast claw part on the back of bellum’s legs.

@kawaii_kitten what legion if you do? I’ve been adjusting some details, and a friend asked me if I could give this build shoulder articulation, he may just start buying Legos so he can build his own legion of black templars. So this is what I’ve done.
Ultramarines chapter. leigions are pre horus heresy, chapters are post. I tried my hand at a gravis captain (looks like this) but i realized i was going to have to buy parts off bricklink. for those who don’t know, I never buy specific parts.
Most of the new parts that are used in the build, can also be bought off from pick a brick on lego. It’s what I do, and the prices are better. The older ones I buy from ebay.
