Toa Voya in Metru form (Garan, Balta, etc)

It is most likely a joke what I am presenting now, but my inactivity is becoming worse with my exams approaching. Whatever.

Remember the good old 2006 days, where we got the Toa Inika, the Piraka,…and 6 badly repaired Matoran. Yes, I’m talking about Garan, Balta, Dalu, Piruk, and Kazi (not Velika, that traitor). I felt like they needed a new role. In an alternate dimension, some of them became Toa, now everyone got a new Metru Toa form. Don’t ask why Metru form. I like the design. That’s all. (also Matau and Nokama were my first Bionicle Toa, so…)
But because of Velika, I needed another Po Matoran. So I just made one up myself. She (yes a female Po-Matoran, totally not canon) is called Nari, and you shouldn’t mess with her. Really, you shouldn’t.

Well, here we are. Also, I don’t have a proper Toa Team name for them. If someone has a recommendation, please let me know.

Balta

Sector01 Description:
Balta is a Ta-Matoran on Voya Nui and was on the Voya Nui Resistance Team. He is Garan’s best friend and right hand Matoran and is also close friends with Dalu. Balta is a brave Matoran, brave enough to risk his life to steal a Zamor Sphere from Vezok and fight back against him and Thok. He is skilled with technology, but is more apt to make small, practical devices. He is able to improvise with whatever is at hand - he can take any pile of discarded equipment and turn it into a device or weapon with ease.

Dalu

Sector01 Description:
Dalu is a Ga-Matoran warrior, and was the enforcer for the Voya Nui Resistance Team. In her early life, Dalu was docile and reserved as most Ga-Matoran are. However, the circumstances of life in Karzahni and Voya Nui molded her into a fierce warrior with no fear of speaking her mind. Dalu is valiant and loyal to her friends, but has a bit of a temper, once getting irritated enough to smash a rock wall with her head.

Garan (Leader)

Sector01 Description:
Garan is an Onu-Matoran of Voya Nui. Known to be brave and smart by his fellow Matoran, Garan led the Voya Nui Resistance Team in their fight against the invading Piraka. Garan was the first to discover that the Piraka were not actually Toa as they claimed. Garan is a very tactical thinker. He believed that the Voya Nui Resistance could defeat the Piraka, because they worked together while the Piraka did not. He is also shown to be very determined, proven when he risked his life in the Chamber of Truth to stop the Piraka. His best friend is Balta. Like all Onu-Matoran, Garan has decent night vision, allowing him to see fairly well in the dark.

Piruk

Sector01 Description:
Piruk is a nervous Le-Matoran who acted as a spy for the Voya Nui Resistance Team. Piruk is stealthy and quick. The Voya Nui Resistance Team often made use of these traits when the Piraka invaded and employed him as a spy. He can be rather cowardly at times, and has a bad habit of sharpening his Shredder Claws when nervous. Despite this, he is loyal to his friends and is more capable than he gives himself credit for. Piruk is also known to own a pet Desert Burnak, which was taken by him to the Nui Caves in order to survive the island’s return to the Southern Continent.

Kazi

Sector01 Description:
Kazi is a sarcastic Ko-Matoran who was a member of the Voya Nui Resistance Team. Like most other Ko-Matoran, Kazi is cold and quiet. He thinks realistically and is constantly annoyed with Velika’s habit of speaking in riddles. He despised Voya Nui and was very pessimistic - until a hurricane struck the island, after which he started to look on the bright side of things. Kazi was the first resident of Voya Nui to meet Axonn, although he kept Axonn’s existence a secret at his request. Additionally, when the Piraka invaded Voya Nui, Kazi was initially the only one with an idea of why they were on the island. As with all Ko-Matoran, Kazi has a great resistance to frigid temperatures.

Nari

Own Description:
Built after the Great Battle of Spherus Magna, she is the very first female Matoran in existence. As a Matoran, she was capable to carry as much as the first version of Po-Matoran, if not even more. But like Dalu, she has a certain temper. She doesn’t like it being interrupted during a conversation, and she is also known to have fought against a group of Ta-Matoran for calling her a Fusa (sort of kangaroo rahi). She became close friends with Piruk, since both worked in an industrial complex for land vehicles. Later on, she became a Toa instead of Velika(I still don’t have found any good story).

These are all great, though fairly clone-ish.

Not bad. The necks on some of them look a little far back, though that might just due the angle they’re at, but it does convey a sense of depth to the armor.

I do like the variations you gave each, all of which fit their characters nicely, i.e. Dalu’s swift appearance suits her as a warrior. It would’ve been nice if Piruk or Garan retained their hunchs as I felt those were defining features of their Matoran designs.

Other than that I have no qualms with these.

These are all pretty good! My biggest problem is that the clone-ish-ness of the Metru build sucks all of the personality from their Matoran designs, so they just kinda look like upgraded Toa Metru.

These are well done. I like the subtle ways that you changed the original Metru build, though I do agree that most of these are quite similar.

Gonna change perhaps some of their body armour, but changing too much their design wasn’t my initial plan. I wanted them to be lire the Toa Hagah.

They don’t have to be different. Having somewhat unified designs makes them look like a part of the same toa team.

This is some quality AU material right here.

I don’t mind the clone builds. I think it makes them look more like a team actually.

I really like Balta’s weapons and his armoring. I think the top needs more yellow, like in the upper arms. Overall, nice consistent texturing.

I like how Dalu is given sorta a feminine shape while not over-doing it. This is a good female MOC. The weapons are freaking amazing too.

The other characters are the same pretty much. I really like the female characters a lot. They’re not overdone. They’re just right for a female Toa.

All these are incredible, even if they’re clones. Well done, good sir.

What I could do is replace the red upperarm with a yellow part. But I will have to find such pieces, and I fear that my Hewkii already uses them.

They’re all right. Something feels off about all of their chest builds though.
