Considering the setting, I wouldn’t be surprised if it involves Unicron, decepticon surveillance devices or the local wildlife.

The origin of the enemy is a little more internal than what you might think. But that’s all I’ll say for now.
I’m mostly just several hundred posts behind with my character having vanished with no idea of what’s happened in the meantime or how to explain her disappearance

Her disappearance could be explained by her just not doing/saying anything of note recently. That’s the excuse I use when I miss something in an RP.

I guess so. Still leaves the issue of me getting caught up on events, though.

iirc, she went off to check the Ancient temple before the others got to it, and was never seen again.

You are correct. I got stuck on trying to figure out how to react to the description and vanished into the void.

Ah. Well, shortly after that, I believe Max posted a summary of a few of the events that happened while at the temple:
After the fight with the Rust Tyrant, the party reached the camp and found that the transformers there have been living out in the desert since Megatron conquered Cybertron. They’re low on resources, so a few of the PCs gave them some provisions as a show of goodwill, so we’re on good terms at the moment.
Most recently, we’ve met an autobot NPC named Bombatron, who’s become delusional and is convinced that an invisible enemy lives out in the desert, and that he alone can fight it. Some of the PCs are with him now, while the rest are at the campsite wondering what to do with him.

And now you shall. It may be best to have Skydance back at the camp, since that’s where everyone else is right now.
She’d be aware that something is up, since the reason we found Bombatron in the first place was because he was shouting at the moon and woke everyone up.
But if you want to work out some more specifics, I’d be happy to discuss.

I’m very confused as to why 3 of the 4 characters meeting Bombatron split off in different directions. Why would they do this?
I won’t speak for anyone else, but Backbreaker went back to the campsite to let everybody else know about Bombatron. He probably didn’t expect the others to also leave.

yeah I’m confused as to why they did leave.
I think Juliana wanted to lead Bombatron away from the camp, but he didn’t follow.
Would it make sense if my character just looped back around toward Axis and Bombatron?
Maybe. Probably? I’m not really sure. But you can go ahead with it if you want.
