“Sounds good…”
Treadquake said as he turned around and returned to his work.
“I guess. If you guys wanna go out and risk it, I’d say its pretty noble. But you’d never see me risking my head like that.”

The night passed over quietly. The bunks in the barracks weren’t the most comfortable thing in the world, but they sure as hell beat sleeping on sand another night.
The following morning, the group would have a rather rude awakening. A blaring horn sounded over the intercom. Before anyone of the group could do as much as get out of bed, all of the Convoy’s crew were already out of their rooms and getting into their morning routine.
After the wakeup call had ended, Dirtboss’ voice came over the speakers.
“Attention guests. I hope you all slept well. We’ll reach Sand Mouth in just a few hours. Soon as we arrive, you’re on your own.”
Maximus and Axis both got out of their shared bunk and stretched. Bluntforce meanwhile rolled out of his bunk and thunked on to the floor, taking a few more moments to get up.
“I swear to primus I’ll never understand how anyone can get used to this.”
He grumbled into the floor.
“Hey Maximus, you should probably go check on Torchwing and Thea. You know, make sure they didn’t kill each other?”
Axis suggested.
“Good idea.”
Maximus said. He then walked out of the room and approached the one next door. He gently opened the door, surprised to find that the two were cuddled up on the same small bunk. Leaving the second one empty. And they had miraculously managed to sleep through the wakeup call.
“Hey buddy-”
Maximus said as he stepped into the room.
Meanwhile
As soon as Maximus was out of the room, Axis turned to Bluntforce.
“Alright. I fell asleep before you. Did you hear anything?”
The maximal eagerly asked.
Bluntforce grumbled as he got to his feet.
“Well they were definitely talking pretty late. I couldn’t tell what any of it was about, but it never sounded like fighting. I still think you’re crazy though.”
“Please. Its obvious they like each other. All they need is the right push.”
Axis replied.
“Or you forced two hostile elements together into a small room and it’ll blow up in your face.”
“Hey buddy”
Before Axis had a chance to give a comeback, Maximus came hurtling through the wall that connected their room to the next. He crashed into the far wall, and slumped on to the ground.
All the young predacon said was a simple
“Ow”
Through the new dragon sized hole, they could see an extremely embarrassed Thea, and a Torchwing who was completely engulfed in his own flames.
“NEXT TIME, YOU KNOCK!”
The burning predacon shouted.
No one had anything to say after that. Axis simply turned to Bluntforce, looking as smug as smug could be.
