Transformer New Horizons: Rebirth of The Tyrant. RP

“Sounds good…”
Treadquake said as he turned around and returned to his work.

“I guess. If you guys wanna go out and risk it, I’d say its pretty noble. But you’d never see me risking my head like that.”

The night passed over quietly. The bunks in the barracks weren’t the most comfortable thing in the world, but they sure as hell beat sleeping on sand another night.

The following morning, the group would have a rather rude awakening. A blaring horn sounded over the intercom. Before anyone of the group could do as much as get out of bed, all of the Convoy’s crew were already out of their rooms and getting into their morning routine.

After the wakeup call had ended, Dirtboss’ voice came over the speakers.
“Attention guests. I hope you all slept well. We’ll reach Sand Mouth in just a few hours. Soon as we arrive, you’re on your own.”

Maximus and Axis both got out of their shared bunk and stretched. Bluntforce meanwhile rolled out of his bunk and thunked on to the floor, taking a few more moments to get up.

“I swear to primus I’ll never understand how anyone can get used to this.”
He grumbled into the floor.

“Hey Maximus, you should probably go check on Torchwing and Thea. You know, make sure they didn’t kill each other?”
Axis suggested.

“Good idea.”
Maximus said. He then walked out of the room and approached the one next door. He gently opened the door, surprised to find that the two were cuddled up on the same small bunk. Leaving the second one empty. And they had miraculously managed to sleep through the wakeup call.

“Hey buddy-”
Maximus said as he stepped into the room.

Meanwhile

As soon as Maximus was out of the room, Axis turned to Bluntforce.

“Alright. I fell asleep before you. Did you hear anything?”
The maximal eagerly asked.

Bluntforce grumbled as he got to his feet.
“Well they were definitely talking pretty late. I couldn’t tell what any of it was about, but it never sounded like fighting. I still think you’re crazy though.”

“Please. Its obvious they like each other. All they need is the right push.”
Axis replied.

“Or you forced two hostile elements together into a small room and it’ll blow up in your face.”

“Hey buddy”
Before Axis had a chance to give a comeback, Maximus came hurtling through the wall that connected their room to the next. He crashed into the far wall, and slumped on to the ground.

All the young predacon said was a simple
“Ow”

Through the new dragon sized hole, they could see an extremely embarrassed Thea, and a Torchwing who was completely engulfed in his own flames.

“NEXT TIME, YOU KNOCK!”
The burning predacon shouted.

No one had anything to say after that. Axis simply turned to Bluntforce, looking as smug as smug could be.

Darksting stretched his eight legs and tail, hopped out of his bunk, and transformed. He walked out of his room to see a flaming Torchwing, with Thea behind him. There was a Maximus-shaped hole in the adjacent wall. Of course, he couldn’t see what was happening so he said,
“What happened here?”

Tripwire rolls out of the little alcove he’d tucked himself into for a night’s power-down, hitting the floor with a dull thud.

Backbreaker and Hemorrhage waste no time getting up and securing their gear.

Darksting likely wouldn’t see what had happened, since it was behind closed doors. Though he would most definitely hear all the commotion it caused.

Torchwing threw his door open and stormed out. Or rather the door melted out of his way. He angrily marched down the hall, still in a massive blaze. Smoking scorch marks under every footprint. He made his way to the mess hall. The moment he closed the trailer door behind him, the room temperature dropped dramatically.

Axis opened the door to their room and walked out, observing the damage Torchwing had left in his wake.
“Well, that probably could have gone better.”
She noted to herself.

Bombatron awoke with a long drawn out yawn as he shifted into his robot mode.
“Primus above. That’s the best sleep I’ve had in centuries. I can’t even remember the last time I slept on anything other than sand.”

Meanwhile two guard predacons came in to switch out with the two who were already guarding Dropkick. Said Decepticon prisoner groaned loudly. He was still half asleep, and desperately trying to go back to completely asleep.

Tripwire rolls over and sits up, his optics flickering alight as he came out of sleep-mode.

“Morning already?” he groans, his speech slurring as his vocalizers powered-up.

“Uh, I feel like I might get pounded on for asking this, but why is Torchwing on fire this early in the morning?” Darksting said, not trusting himself to say any more.

“Unfortunately, yes.”
Dropkick muttered. He rolled over to face the others as he made the depressing realization that sleep would not return to him.

"I have my suspicions, but it’s too early to say.,
Axis replied.

Bluntforce walked out of the room, visibly iterated.
“It happened because a certain fire bird thinks she can play match maker, and her experiment blew up in her face.”
He grumbled.

The Railroad Team were quick to get up with the waking alarm. Coverfire and Sheller gave the love-struck couple a bit of space, sleeping over on the other end. Depending on how they slept, Railgun is either already standing and waiting to help Nebula out of her stupor, or laying nearby, not trying to rush her much on getting up. The trains may have been early morning people, but it didn’t seem that Nebula was this way so far.

Having slept in the room with Maximus, Axis, and Bluntforce, they got an unexpected viewing of events. First Bluntforce fell out of bed and could have easily crushed them if they weren’t elsewhere. However, this unexpected happening spooks them, all three quickly training their weapons on the source before standing down. Again, depending on the position, Railgun takes a more protective stance to shield Nebula before easing up.

“Sir, didn’t Torchwing request no-one enter his room?” Sheller asks as Maximus leaves.

If they hadn’t guessed it earlier, the conspiracy chat between Axis and Bluntforce made things really clear. And a soon incoming Maximus also seemed to verify at least Torchwing’s statement. After the concern of potentially getting flattened the second time this morning is cleared, Railgun starts questioning if he should really ask Axis those questions.

Mornings were rarely boring with this crew.

Timberjack, meanwhile, is completely unaware of this. After the screaming alarm, he tries to get a few more winks in anyways. He stayed up too late, his optics didn’t want to be on yet.

Though fighting it, he eventually gets out and checks himself to ensure no parts were stolen. Then does some stretches before walking out into the hall only to be greeted by a heatwave. He is utterly confused, looking around to make sure they didn’t dream of making it to the Dust Devils before seeing Torchwing walk out.

Seeing the rest of the state with the others, he mumbles something about things being too early and slinks back to his bunk for things to calm.

Nebula was slow to rise at first, groaning at the loud wake up call.
“How do you people live like this?”

Though Bluntforce striking the floor was enough to fully wake her. She took a few moments to stand up and stretch her arms over her head.
“Aaaaalright. Time to start the day.”

Not a moment later Maximus came crashing through the wall and landed close to her. As Axis and Bluntforce walked out, and after assuring Railgun she was alright, Nebula hopped up on to the young pirate’s chest.

“Morning flyboy.”
She said, looking down at Maximus. The predacon looked back up at her.

“Good morning Nebula.”
He replied cheerfully. Which might have seemed odd for a bot laying on the floor under a light cover of rubble.

“Never a dull moment with you around huh?”
She said cheekily.

“Nope. And that’s just how I like it.”

Nebula jumped down as Maximus got up and dusted himself off. Maximus walked out to start his day, while Nebula checked back in with Railgun.

“Uh, I don’t think I’ll ask any further.” Darksting said.
“When’s breakfast?”

Razorbite had had a fairly comfortable sleep down in the storeroom, having transformed and coiled up on the floor. After hearing the horn, he transformed back and just sat on the ground impatiently, unsure of what to do.

“Breakfast is served as soon as wake up call.”
Axis said.

“Excuse me fine lad.”
Bombatron said to one of the predacons guarding Dropkick.
“Do you think you could fetch me some breakfast? I’d go myself, but uh…”
He gestured to the exit door, which was a third his size.

The guard nodded.
“Of course sir.”
He then left, leaving his partner in an awkward silence between a towering autobot and an irritated decepticon.

“Oh, ok. I’ll head on down to the mess hall then.” Darksting said, and then he walked off.

The mess hall was busy and bustling. The room crowded with Dust Devil predacons who were enjoying an early morning meal.

Darksting could see Torchwing sitting and eating on his own. His flames had dissipated, but smoke and smoldering embers were still rising off his back.

Railgun shakes his head at this endeavor and will be asking about it later.

“Right. Well with that morning…protocol out of the way, what should be do first? Head for some Energon or get that before we leave?” Railgun asks the group.

“No preference sir,” Sheller answers, getting elbowed by Coverfire for it.

“He means starting with morning rations sir. Need to grab something before the wildfire detonates them all.” Coverfire answers.

Darksting decided not to talk to Torchwing about what had happened, and decided he should get some food.

Tripwire rises and trudges off to join the rest of the party in the mess. Backbreaker and Hemorrhage proceed there from the barracks, and they arrive at roughly the same time.

“Mornin’ everybody,” Backbreaker says. “Ready for another day of saving the world?”

Hoverbug buzzed along behind her, keeping a short distance off the ground. She gathered her rations and picked a spot not too far from Juliana. Trying to respect her wish for space, but also close enough to talk to if she wanted.

“I could go for some grub myself.”
Nebula replied.

“I’m always ready!”
Maximus replied eagerly as he walked by.

“After that wake up call, the only thing I’m ready for is breakfast.”
Axis followed up.

With that, the Railroad team heads for the mess hall. They try to not to be stepped on by the many bulks and get to safe area. Once again joining the table with the Backbreaker, Maximus, and other friends.

Once it sounded quiet, Timberjack comes back out and goes to get some Energon. He takes a random seat that’s free, not paying attention to whom he might be sitting next to.
