Cannonball was once a lowly slave working on the shores of the ocean planet Quintessa. He would toil day in and day out harvesting, processing, and refining exotic flora for his Quintesson masters to dine upon. It seemed that he had no future, no prospects. He was meant to live the life of a slave on a plantation…
…Until the day that Captain Bludgeon attacked.
In an attempt to steal the Quintessons’ wares, Captain Bludgeon launched a full on raid on Cannonball’s plantation. However, once the fearsome captain of the Tidalwave saw the slaves, he liberated them. Some chose to take their newfound freedom and explore the galaxy, making a new life for themselves. However, others, like Cannonball, chose to stay with the Captain out of a sense of gratitude. They all became a part of Bludgeon’s crew, with Cannonball being appointed First Mate.
Cannonball can be described as loyal and noble, yet fearsome. He has the ability to strike fear into Elite Guard soldiers with a single glare, however if you do him a favour, he will be certain it is repaid. As Bludgeon’s first mate, he makes sure the Captain’s word is law. He serves as both enforcer and advisor, both willing to carry out the Captain’s orders and question them should the need arise. He always thinks of his crew, making sure their every need is met, as he knows that a happy crew is a better team. He even takes time to talk to the ship itself, who very much appreciates the attention. He is proficient on the battlefield, being able to overpower most combatants with his sheer strength and relentlessness. Some say he’s yet to meet an opponent who’s bested him. However, at his core, he is a dutiful and caring bot who will never leave a debt unpaid
