Maximus and Honeycomb stepped through the ground bridge and into the Excalibur II. Just as the predacon set foot in the ship, he was surprised to feel Axis’ warm embrace around him. He couldn’t help but smile and return the gesture.
“I missed you too.” He said softly.
Axis then quickly stepped back and tried to regain her professional composure.
“Sorry. Today has been… a lot. I’m just glad to have you back. How was your visit home?”
“It was nice! Shorter than I would have liked, but still nice.” He replied with a warm smile.
“I’m glad to hear that. Oh, and it seems you’ve brought a friend.” Axis noted, looking to the unfamiliar insecticon.
“This is Lunawing! She’s my best friend, and she wants to come with us and help against the quintessons!” Honeycomb eagerly exclaimed.
