Okay, I’m finally back. Would it be possible to get a short summary of things that involve my characters or the overarching plot that I’ve missed, or would it be better just to read through everything?
There’s an assassin running around the ship trying to kill y’all’s characters. Some of the PCs have already had a few run-ins with him.
Ooh, fun! Do we know who it is? Are they connected to the spy? Do we even know whether or not they are?
Some of the PCs know what he looks like, but not who he is. He’s an OC, not a character pulled from canon.
Yes, he is. You guys’s characters have thrown enough monkey wrenches into their plans, so the spy’s finally decided to do something about it.
How good should Zepar’s senses be in his beast mode? I did establish way back near the beginning that he had some Predacon CNA in him but I never really figured out or established how much Predacon he is.
I’d say whatever bit of predacon in him is very minute, given how long they’ve been supposedly extinct. On the whole, I’d say all beast-formers have heightened senses when in their beast modes.
So, not quite to the levels of a full-blooded Predacon but still impressive?
Don’t leave each other hanging now…
Hey fellas, I’m at my grandparents house for a few days, so I’ll be inactive until Monday or so.
Feel free to continue without me, I don’t wanna hold up the story too much!
New Salvation Upgrades: Cortical Psychic Patch and Hyperevolution Chambers
Using components collected by the PCs, Shockwave has installed a fully functional Cortical Psychic Patch machine in his laboratory. Using it, two characters can join neural networks and interact in a virtual representation of their minds. Their bodies are kept in stasis lock in the procedure, and disruption to them could have severe consequences.
Shockwave and Breig have also produced five hyperevolution tanks for the purpose of cloning mechanimal companions for characters. CNA samples acquired through various means can be inserted into one of the tanks to construct a creature under the control of a player character.
These additions will be added to Salvation’s main bio.
I think Zepar will donate some CNA to help with the Predacon experiments and to see what the result would be.
With his Dark Energon powers, the results could be quite interesting…
Oh, yeah. I forgot to consider that little factor.
Interesting… give Darkkside a minion perhaps?
If you want to, yeah.
They’ll be used for something far greater if a certain zebra-bot has anything to say about it.
can I design it?
Also, is there a cybertronian equivalent to nuns or monks? For a charecter idea.
Angelicons reside in monasteries, does that count?
You can modify an existing template. Those can be found in Grommet’s lab.
There are Angelicons, and I imagine there are probably a lot of other religious orders out there in cybertronian society in this universe.
Dunno; it started after the last update to the site. You just have to italicize part of the name.
In case they ever come up again, I figured flesh out the War Giant Project that Fortress talked about.
Fortress was the first created, and thus has the most limitations. His personality components are very basic. He thinks and feels just as much as anyone else, but has a lot of difficulty expressing himself. Of the three he’s the one who saw the most active combat. He’s the largest and most heavily armed.
Bunker meanwhile was the last made, and has the most advanced personality components. He has a young and scrappy personality, and is extremely determined when it comes to combat. He refuses to give up until victory, which often gets him in trouble. Though on rare occasions he has been able to push the tides of battle despite very poor odds. It is because of this inclusiveness and unwillingness to retreat that he’s seen the least active combat. Though due to his lively personality, he’s made good friends with the soldiers assigned to him.
“I make the impossible possible!”
A common catchphrase of his.
Of the three he’s the smallest. Standing at around half the height of Fortress. Though that still leaves him towering over most cybertronians.
He’s mostly a physical fighter, only having two back mounted cannons for ranged attack. His arms can reconfigure to use the drills from his vehicle mode, using them to rip through enemies.
His vehicle mode is a heavy duty drill tank. Made to ding through the ground at relatively quick speeds. Digging transport tunnels, going underneath enemy lines and, as his name might imply, digging out spaces for bunkers.
Stronghold was the second made. Not as expressionally stunted as Fortress, but not as lively as Bunker. Height was he stands at around the mid point between the other two. He’s very tactically minded and often gives suggestions to mission plans.
He has a sharp shot focused combat style. Keeping at a distance and using precision to eliminate targets. A far cry from Fortress’ maximum obliteration design.
His vehicle mode is designed to haul cargo. Weapons, ammo, building supplies, and whatever else that might need to be moved to and from the front lines.
