“What do you have to offer, let’s say…wait do you have a good medic kit?” Sidewire asked.
Zepar transforms into his dragon form and begins searching for the cryo condor.
“So when you told me a walk to let some steam off this was not what I imagined.” Paradox said following Zepar (@BlackBeltGamer98)
“But aren’t they hurting you?”
“Well,” Zepar said as he sniffed the air for the creature’s scent, “You and me both.”
“On the plus side, it’ll give us something to do.” He says, trying to show a little optimism.
Paradox sighed. “Fine fine, let’s just get this over with.” he said following Zepar.
OOC: GTG eat, I’ll be back in a few minutes.
A moment later, the windows close.
“A total of 3,674 transmission identified as ‘Autobot’ were sent from the CFC Salvation between the time of its first transwarp jump and one half-hour afterward. 23 Transmissions displayed anomalous qualities. Further review suggests that 19 are worth further investigation,” Motherboard drones.
“I can install some medical equipment, if that’s what you’re looking for,” Facelift says.
The cryo-condor could be found roosting by a machine connected to the gravity drive. It looked as though the bird had been modified into a deployer."
“Well, they did, when I first got 'em,” Mallet says with a laugh. “But they’re just scars now.”
The mining transport begins to lift off. Gronius might notice a rather large scar that covered most of the lower part of the left side of Mallet’s chest, and the upper regions of his abdomen.
“Not even that one?” Gronius asked, pointing to the huge scar on his abdomen.
“Of the 23, tell me about the 4 marked as not worth further investigation. After that tell me about the 19” (@Chromeharpoon)
“Eh, I guess this one ache’s a little, every once in a blue moon,” Mallet says. “Doesn’t bother me much, anyhow; I’m lucky to have even survived it!”
“Three of the four transmissions never reached their intended destinations- likely due to interference caused by transwarp noise. The fourth was sent to a terran battleship in the Acid Sea, on Junkion,” Motherboard explains.
Zepar begins to try and stalk as close and silently as he could to the Cryo Condor; he wanted to catch this thing alive and the fact it looked like it was a Deployer made him think this critter could help lead him to the traitor.
Currently, the cryo-condor took no notice of Zepar.
“Hmmm…do you know what the message being sent to the battleship was?” (@Chromeharpoon)
He went to get behind the condor, he had to get close to it so its window of escape was as small as possible.
He didn’t blink, his focus totally on the condor as he stalked closer and closer, treading carefully so as to not cause a noise to alert it.
“The message was a farewell to the vessel’s crew. Deemed anomalous as the vessel currently possesses no known inhabitants,” Motherboard reports.
Motherboard displays the text of the message on her visor.
“Well guys, I’m off. See you again soon. Hopefully.”
The cryo-condor startles as the machine it was resting on shudders, and it takes flight.
“Oh?” Gronius said, curious of hearing the story.
“Hmm. Doesn’t seem to be any kind of code.”
Flareshot puts his hand on his chin
“Tell me about the 19” (@Chromeharpoon)
"Well I need a medical kit because my brother Sidestrike knows how to go around with it and frankly it will spare the medics a lot of time. Also what kind of big guns do you have?! he asked really interested.
Paradox followed silently behind.
Zepar rolls his eyes and takes flight after it, trying to gain the ‘high ground’ advantage.
OOC: maybe I should’ve tackled the bird before Zepar reached the same ‘branch’ as it.
The mining transport lands, and the miners within begin to disembark.
“Yeah,” Mallet says. “I once got a pretty sizable hole blown in me, courtesy of a fellow merc named Fusebox.”
“He and I first met about… eh, 800 years back. A nebulan diplomat had hired me to take care of some… let’s call 'em ‘loose ends’, and it turned out that some quintessons had hired Fusebox to take out the same target.”
“Various anomalies observed,” Motherboard reports. “Unknown recipients and destinations. Bizarre content. Two transmissions sent to Antilla, one to Chaar.”
“Mm. You might want to bring this ‘Sidestrike’ fellow down here sometime,” Facelift suggests. “I might have something. As for your query on weapons, fine sir- well, I certainly have a few of those! Stuff that that Autobot quartermaster wouldn’t be caught dead selling.”
This strategy was working; the cryo-condor was keeping relatively low, flying between the pipes, girders, and cabling between some of the machinery.
