Transformers: Twilight of the Golden Age Part II

“Raga. Gora rog.” ”I don’t think it’s really a choice for me. It’s the instincts inside, they’re strong.”

“I’m not babysitting; keep them close or on your person.” Darkstorm grumbled as he tracked the waypoint’s movement to try and extrapolate a pattern.

As if in reply, all seven younglings climb up Coalburn’s tail and snuggle together on his back, under the shade of his spine.

Darkstorm leads the group along to try and reach Rhisling ASAP.

OOC: that was freaking adorable.

Hammer and Hydro Rex follow Darkstorm.

As did Seraphicon.

Firestorm remained at his post, guarding the armory.

Father Auros went to the cathedral to pray and ponder on what needs to be done and has happened already.

Piston, Whetstone, and Myriad follow Darkstorm, not realy understanding the situation, save the fact that they will need to fight the Heralds.
Piston rumbles along in tank mode, while Myriad flies with Whetstone hanging from her runners.

For the moment, the waypoint was steady.

Darkstorm kept as true to the marker as possible, warning the others of hazards due to him wanting to survive if they encountered the Heralds: strength and safety in numbers.

Axis and the beast were with the rest of the group, wherever that may be.

Crate and Rotary exclude themselves from the assumed listening range of the group.

“He’s bugging you, isn’t he?” Crate asks his sister.

“It’s just so strange. They look and sound exactly the same, down to even the hat,” Rotary mourns.

“He seems much less joyful.”

“I think that has something to do with the situation.”

“Oh?”

“Well, how would you feel if some wacko shows up and claims she’s your wife?”

“I’d probably send her to the asylum. I ain’t lucky enough for a wife.”

In the strange, shifting landscape of Aevum, features indicating an advanced city could be seen in the bizzare geometric shapes.

Darkstorm checks the marker; he wouldn’t pay the city any mind if it wasn’t on their path.

The city was all around them, broken up in the amorphous blobs that currently made up Aevum.

“Kinda like Doctor Strange, eh?” Bootleg says to his AU self, expecting the duplicate to get the reference.

“Doc who?” Responds the alternate Bootleg.

“No, Doc Strange,” Bootleg mistakenly corrects.

“Terran trivia.” Darkstorm tells AU Bootleg.

“How much farther?” Seraphicon asked Darkstorm.

The bounty hunter checks the approximate distance to the marker.

Axis lounged on the beast’s shoulder, Apex Disk in hand.

The beast walked among the others. Occasionally he would grunt or groan. He constantly muttered and whispered under his breath, having some sort of conversation with himself.

Rhisling was apparently about a hundred kilometers away, however there was a considerable margin of error in Iota’s calculations that the AI was constantly having to update as reality itself shifted around our heroes.

Darkstorm checked the various entries he made of each ■■■■■ in the sword’s location, trying to find a pattern.

OOC: if the sword is connected to this storm of instability, would it stand to reason that the sword is in the proverbial eye of the storm?

OOC: it is, yes. Iota was able to find it because the place it’s kept in is the only place that’s remained more-or-less “fixed” in spacetime.

The sword isn’t the one that’s constantly moving around, it’s you guys.

According to Iota’s data, all the distortions in spacetime emanated from around single point on Aevum.

Darkstorm marked that region as the “Eye and Eye Wall”. He tries to get the group to move as fast as possible to it.

“Liege,” Seraphicon asked, “How’s the Matrix?”
