“What must we do to find The Next Prime and where must we journey to discern their identity and anyone or anything that could aid in our quest to free Cybertron from the threat of Unicron and his Heralds?” Seraphicon asks Vector Sigma.
OOC: and now I’m wondering if The Matrix is going to react to any of this.
“There are several locations I’d recommend you pay a visit to,” Vector Sigma informs Seraphicon, “as all of which hold powerful weapons and artifacts that would aid you greatly in your battle.”
“Can ya spit 'em out, already?” Bootleg requests.
“Well, excuse me for trying to set up a dramatic revelation and make my usual task of spouting exposition just a tad more entertaining,” Vector Sigma deadpans.
Seraphicon wonders if he should reveal The Matrix now. Then realizes Skorn still is telepathicly linked to him and quickly casts away that train of thought. Don’t tell anyone without my permission, please. he telepathicly asks the Minicon Deployer.
“Please be patient, Bootleg.” He says, “We’re probably the first visitors Vector Sigma has had in eons.”
“Vector Sigma,” he says, “Could you please supply us with the information we need to find these places and artifacts as well as the candidates for The Next Prime and any who would be able to aid us in our quest?”
A second later, a holomap of Cybertronian space fills the entire chamber. Those assembled would notice, however, that eleven planets were depicted far beyond Commonwealth territory; far beyond known space, even.
“I’ll be blunt,” the ancient machine says, “your historical records are woefully inaccurate, and have partially omitted a significant event in Cybertronian history.”
“You can guess, I’m certain,” Megabolt says as he fires again.
“No purpose?” repeats Nemesis Prime as he walks up from behind Dynamo, Dark Star Saber in hand.
“I am referring to the aftermath of the War of the Primes,” Vector Sigma explains. “Records since then state that those you call the Thirteen destroyed each other atop the Hydrax Plateau. In actuality, Optimus Prime was able to diffuse the conflict before his brothers and sister could do so.”
The eleven planets had names and coordinates written in cyberglyphics, which quickly switched to modern Cybertronian as Seraphicon studied them.
