Woop! Another MOC of mine to show you guys. This time it’s Tysion, a coh’lhran (a species in my storyline) of earth. He is at the centre of a massive secret sharing network (or espionage, in a sense). If you’d like to know more about him then click here.

I’m really pleased with how he turned out and would consider him to be my best MOC to date. One of the things I thought made him stand out amongst other MOCs was the black/orange/purple colour scheme, which is something I haven’t seen before.

The back! Definitely not as impressive as the front. A lot of the TECHNIC workings are exposed here but I felt that adding something to cover them up would make the MOC look too bulky, though I have covered up a few things.

Admittedly, this was a bit of a table scrap. Regardless, I still like it.

Ya’ll MOCists need to stop being so humble about making something like this. =P

I like the color scheme, black, orange and purple look really nice. I want more colors like this dang it!

It looks brilliant! I absolutely love the color scheme! (Not just because of the orange :wink: )
His arms and legs are extremely well proportioned, and I love to see the Huna! I’ve tried using that arm design recently and I can’t seem to find a clever way to connect the armor, but looks like you’re 20 steps ahead of me :smiley:

This is definitely on my top ten favorite mocs!

He looks pretty good from the back. Also, I like the use of the small orange spikes. Great job!

Thanks! The spikes on his shoulders were supposed to loosely represent a crown, but I don’t think that comes across particularly well.

Orange, purple, and black… Very nice! Normally I don’t think of those colors going together, but you make it work. And I love the arms.

Oh. My. Gosh. I love this guy! I love the color scheme, and how much detail you got in there without making him jumbled. His shin pieces look a bit to big for his thighs and feet, but I like how the piece looks there. :slight_smile: I say 10/10!

I have seen a similar color scheme (it also had yellow) before, actually, but this still looks utterly fantastic! I love the wheel things in either side of the knees; gives it a subtle mechanical feel, and the hammer is simple, but great!
