Any U2 fans here? If so what is your favorite album?
Mine is All That You Can’t Leave Behind. I know U2 is really cool to hate these days and they are mostly a Baby Boomer/Generation X band, but I always loved them.

I love them! They were my first introduction to rock music, and I still listen to them frequently.

I’ve always found it absurd when some older people tell younger fans that “that was our music” , as if they own the rights to listen to music of their time.
Pet Peeves aside, I think they are a fantastic rock band with great technical ability and poetic lyrics. New Years Day is probably my personal favorite, if I had to pick.

Honestly, something being “cool to hate” is one of the most absurd concepts to ever come out of human society. People are allowed to dislike whatever they want, but they better have a genuine reason for it.
Anyway, U2 is great
