As it turns out, the mutated mask of control pops right onto the G2 neck connection, making a far more cohesive face. The horns are drastically shortened, and the neck is thicker and lined up a bit better with the body shape. You can also see the crystal parts I embedded in the chest, so it’s not just empty.

Very interesting mods, although I still wish he had any amount of forearm. Hero Factory and G2 having the unfortunate commonality of the main big bad set possessing incomplete arms is saddening
This stuff didn’t always cost so much. I was really into G2 when it was new. So I snapped up a lot of sets when they were being clearanced. Irresponsible use of money is definitely involved though. The joints are the worst now, I’ve been having serious issues with cracks forming on the CCBS sockets, and the 2016 parts are really pricy.
I might fiddle around with the arms more. The underside could certainly use some love.
I was the prime demographic for G2… I wish like hell now that I begged my mom harder for these sets.
I like the modifications overall! A more solid build means it looks more like the end of the world as we know it, rather than a toy. That being said, I kinda liked the absurdly large tusks the original had.
