I’m not sure if this is unpopular (someone will tell me), but at least I do know I am not alone on this one:
Cumin is disgusting and it instantly ruins any food it’s in!
That said, what always fascinated me is that I like mint, and yet the same substance (carvone) is making the flavor of both. The only difference is that cumin contains different enantiomer (S-carvone) than mint (R-carvone). Same structure, just mirror images of each other, yet the flavor is way different.

Not a fan, I like my watermelon the way nature intended it: just barely flavored
It’s worth noting my sense of smell is very unreliable and affects what I can taste
