I agree. I specifically prefer Onua’s colors over Whenua’s.
obvious joke is obvious

Uh…
I like thok white?
@Ekorak The one with the absolute WORST color change is Nuju.
This one seems really unpopular: I have no real problem with the gender imbalance in Bionicle, because I don’t think a story needs a correctly proportional representation of any group to be good. Same reason I don’t complain about Pride and Prejudice having mostly female characters, or The Lord of the Rings having mostly male characters, or either of those for only having white characters, and so on.
I have a confession to make.
I’m completely fine with love not being canon for MU inhabitants.
I think the GBs made a wise choice when creating the species of Matoran Universe by not making them able to biologically reproduce. It also has the potential to tell deep and complex stories. Like what if an SM inhabitant falls in love with an MU inhabitant, but the character from the MU doesn’t share the same feelings toward the character from the SM and how the SM would struggle to come to grips with that fact
For what it’s worth.
Oh, sorry. Didn’t see your post there.
In a topic this long, it’s inevitable that a few opinions will get repeated. Plus, you explained your reasoning more than I did.
I also was going to mention that it wouldn’t be wise to have sexually reproductive beings inside a spacecraft that they must maintain for an unknown amount of time. It could lead to overpopulation inside Mata Nui and that could be a bad thing.
Same argument could be used conversely… if they could reproduce it could serve as a backup for the inevitable fact of people dying. But I guess the GBs hadn’t considered that.
The Red Star was their way of keeping the population up… It just broke.
I hate the idea of the Red Star. I wish it was some sort of Heaven that didn’t regenerate beings, and I wish characters would stay dead. >:I
Hmm, I know there are a few Toku fans around here so this opinion isn’t that unpopular, but I will say: I like Power Rangers.
Generation 1 of Transformers is admittedly kinda lame, just in terms of a lot of unexplained plot holes, and I honestly think that it should not be how older fans introduce newer fans to the franchise.(Story wise, mostly Season 2. But season 3 takes the cake for having a massive story vs. animation quality dissonance.)
Charizard is my least favorite Kanto Starter Pokemon.
I didn’t care for Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, and I don’t care how awesome some folks think Cynthia is.
Venusaur all the way.
I like silver and I think it makes many sets look nice.
I don’t like purple in Bionicle sets. There. I said it. Lynch me.
The Metru colors are superior, in my eyes.
I liked 2005.
I liked 2006.
I don’t really like the Toa Nuva/Mata from gen1.
I don’t care whether Greg keeps canonizing things or not. I think it fleshes out the story.
Hmm, I this is the only one I truly disagree with wholeheartedly.
I mean, I’m a little iffy on
This one and also
This one, but I gotta ask, do you mean story or set-wise?
Story. The sets are gr8.
Oh, here’s another one. I enjoy the Phantoka and Mistika sets.
Okay, with story I can kinda see where you’re coming from.
They are kinda stock.
Red hot headed leader
Blue Levelheaded one/Levelheaded female
The comic relief one with the funny voice
The Cold and Calculating one who’s standoffish from the others, etc.
I have very few qualms with the Makuta, titans, and vehicles.
And outside maybe the obvious “orange not brown” and the mask thing on Pohatu, I think the Phantoka work.
Of the Mistika Toa, I think I can disagree with you moreso, but that is why they’re called Unpopular Opinions.
Almost forgot another one.
…
I like Destiny.
I hate how they portrayed Jaller in Mask of Light. MNOG was more fitting for him.
you’ve got guts saying that i disagree but I respect your opinion clap clap
