just curious how did this go :goo:

I guess it didn’t go :pensive:

Also, as an update, the Wild Masks story now has more chapters than both BoR and the first half of BoT. And honestly after checking those topics to make sure I was remembering correctly I became so disgusted with my writing quality for those books that I regret ever looking at them bruh2

Here’s hoping Wild Masks lasts a bit longer in my good temper than those ones did

(it would be really cool and funny and based if you actually rewrote one like you said you would in the april fools topic)

Cordax that was just a joke topic I don’t really wanna revisit any of that slop bruh2

Wild Masks is already leagues better than any of the previous books, the story is way more cohesive and interesting and the pacing is actually tolerable this time around

Maybe you would know if you were caught up

Maybe I would be caught up if you stopped writing chapters six months ago

Where did you last leave off? There’s been a JFK reenactment attempt and a car chase since then, among other things

Tactical double post because UPDATE:

All users who have signed up for the story have now appeared in the story, by name, and have been officially identified in the signup topic! :sunglasses:

Now if you’re ever curious as to who Pakka or Chubasco is meant to be, here’s your answer. I hope this most recent update to the story helps with keeping track of who’s who and what’s what in this convoluted mess of mine :goo:

Egads! What are you doing here, Ghid?

Why, shilling, of course :sunglasses: :dollar: :moneybag: :money_mouth_face:

I’m happy to announce (long after I should have tbh) The Wild Lands, a prequel story to The Wild Masks. It follows the journey of Arthur, as he and his comrades venture into the unknown heart of northern Canada in pursuit of something beyond compare - no matter what (or who) it takes to get there.

Could his compatriots have ulterior motives? Could he have ulterior motives? The answer to both of these questions (and more) is yes. But also read the story to find out :eye: :eye:

Well, hey there, sport!

Been a while since I opened up the ol’ storm drain. Surviving on rainwater and the occasional rat, are you? Now, now, don’t you worry about me. I wouldn’t dream of disrupting your little party. But I do have a surprise for you.

It’s the official sequel to the Wild Masks!

Yes, I can see you’re just foaming at the mouth in pure, unfiltered moderate interest. Well, don’t worry! THis time around it’ll be even harder to follow, but I’ve divvied it up into digestible arcs over individual volumes which (hopefully) will cause less of a headache to figure out what is what and who is who.

Don’t worry, all of those roped into this story are back from the first book! You didn’t think it’d be over that easily, did you? :eye_in_speech_bubble: :eye_in_speech_bubble:

Well, I have to go crawl on my hands and knees to Hollywood studios to try and get this turned into a multi-billion dollar film franchise with Adam Sandler and Chris Pratt. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the rancid drip feed until I eventually come back as an uber mega billionaire in a couple of years. See you then!

It would fun to try and to cast real actors as The Wild Masks characters. I’m not familiar enough with Adam Sandler to cast him, but I feel like Chris Pratt might work as Tone?
