Vinheim Maran, King of Kamuk

“Gotta write those proclamations.”

A moc I did for a character I play in Voltex’s BZPGOT series. For those who don’t know BZPGOT is set in a alternate Okoto, and is somewhat of a mix between rpg and DnD, and has a surprising amount of lore behind it already despite it only being it’s third season.

So the moc itself is heavily based upon a moc of Cocoa’s, Tsuta, in such that the torso is nearly the same build. Little else is truly unique regarding Vinheim himself. The cape is primarily there to give that “Regal” look one would expect from a king.

However where the moc may fall short, I am quite pleased with the accessories. I’ve never tried my hand at ‘Bionicle’ sized furniture before, so this was a first for me. I like to think they aren’t the worst and give the character some personality.

On the desk you have an inkwell, brush, a bit of paper, and a candle. However the desk is also able to hold Vinheim’s rondel dagger.

The chair is just that, a chair. However I wanted to have the back of the chair be a bit more complicated than just building a wall of bricks upwards. And you can see on the armrests where I ran out of dark gray tiles.

And a close up of the Rondel dagger. It’s technically just an Epee from the K-2SO set, cut down and filed to a point to replicate the look of a Rondel Dagger. The red hollow stud is moreso just decorational than any type of true purpose.

(Screw it, I tried to not have it rotated, but everything wants to rotate it, so it’s rotated!)

Summary: Vinheim of House Maran originally started out as the Diplomat of the Stone Region in S2, however through Subterfuge and Blackmail, Vinheim would eventually become King of Kamuk, the newly reformatted Stone Region and first “Democracy” in Okoto.

Lengthy Background:
Vinheim was born to an influential Family within House Maran, however during the poisoning of the Stone Region during the War for the Throne, which reduced the stone region to a third of it’s population, Vinheim lost his family. However as would be expected of a member of House Maran, the Young Vinheim adapted quickly. He work his way through the ranks of the Stone Region’s government until he was the official Diplomat under Ruler Shadowvezon Raqmu.

While Diplomat, Vinheim would secure evidence that indicated the Shadowvezon had killed off his uncle and previous ruler, Zatth Raqmu. Utilizing this evidence and a kill-switch, Vinheim secured Toa Pohatu as his personal bodyguard. War would soon once again break out upon Okoto, though unknown to most Vinheim played a key role in instigating the war between the 5 nations of Okoto. During the course of the War of the Five Kings, Vinheim would gather evidence to use against Ruler Shadowvezon Raqmu and General Quin Galum. As the war ceased due to a stalemate, Vinheim seized the opportunity to reveal the war crimes carried out by the two officials of Kamuk, and proceeded to claim the throne for himself while the two rotted away in prison for treason. He would reshape Kamuk into a democracy, ensuring only those who put forth effort would have a chance at ruling Kamuk, versus the prior system of blood-right.

That was 13 years ago, and Vinheim still sits on the throne, while Kamuk’s Capitol, Daggerfall, has become known as the deadliest political arena on Okoto.

(Season 3 just began. Also highly suggest reading the Lore and Histories for the game. Fascinating read and gives a better understanding of the game’s setting than I’m able to provide in a short summary.)

“Even Kings enjoy a good reading break.”

Good use of that torso build, I like the shoulders and cape especially. I think, as you said, the accessories are the best part. They’re very nice for their scale.

I think it just cool how people can just build what never out of lego parts and it just amazing me. So good job on the moc

TheUnknownMaskMake just a friendly moc builder also have a good day

Glad you like the minor changes I did to your original design. Also glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks they scale well. I was worried about that.

Vinheim Maran: Nice little build. It seems pretty good and I like it. What I don’t like is the red. I am sure you can change the eyes piece and the stud from his chest with trans-neon yellow pieces. 9,5/10
The desk: 10/10
The chair: 9,5/10
9,7/10

The red is primarily to reflect his less than good side. I mean after all he made a deal with Kulta in the second season.
