Vorath Mk.2 the mech combiner

Sorry for all the random colors. He’s a combiner, and I couldn’t take off all the components at the moment. Also, he is supposed to be like some sort of beast, thats why he has huge arms. I hope you all enjoy, and i get on the moc spotlight. Also mk.2 means there was a first version that i couldn’t post.

It looks very messy. The back and arms are ok, but the legs aren’t that good. The arms are quite cluttered but you are relatively new here, so that’s just expected.

I do have some advice for you, though:
Put time into your Mocs. No-one is going to like a moc that looks rushed, no matter how big he is. This is understandable if you have a limited parts selection, or don’t know good building techniques. In this case, I highly recommend that you invest in some Technic sets, lift arms and beams can be very useful in the realm of Moc-building, as you can make custom limbs and torsos.

Hope this helps.

No he is standing he just has stubby legs

@TotalMaddness I also have worked very hard on this. I’m sorry that you don’t like it but try to be nicer to some beginners

I mean, without constructive criticism you’re not going to grow as a MOCcist. Also, I think that he was trying to say you put the effort into the wrong aspects, such as size and bulk. It might be impressive to build something huge, but it’s far more impressive to build a MoC that flows nicely, has a decent sense of color, and is sturdy enough to not break while it stands up.

Yeah, I was saying that. Thanks Jakanader.

On one of your MOC topics you say you don’t mind criticism as long as it doesn’t get out of hand, yet the tone you displayed in this very comment is out of hand and just borderline insulting. Also don’t make MOCs that go against the criticism you give to others. I mean what I say in the most unproblematic way.

@TheRedStar, listen, while I did give criticism, I also told him how to improve. Jakanader has already explained what I was trying to say, and Endercrafter didn’t flat out rage at me. It’s clear that he understood what I was saying, and simply asked if I could be less harsh to beginners, and told me that the model is standing, but he has short legs.

I have taken this into account already, so you don’t need to argue about a problem that’s already been resolved.

I’m not defending the MOC’s creator if you think that’s what I’m doing, I’m speaking out against your comment with intent to criticize your out of line comment. I agree with most of what you said, but some of the things you put in your text were unnecessary to giving constructive criticism and plain rude. I’m not hypersensitive, but I feel there’s a way to go about judging plastic models. And indeed you don’t need to argue, just either take into consideration my statement or take it for what it is. Not here to argue, only to provoke thought.

I do understand that, as I stated in the previous comment.
