So after some significant personal changes, I felt inspired to create a new self-moc to more accurately represent myself and my interests. So I present Wakina, the insectoid glatorian warrior woman of jungle.
Her build is relatively simple I’ll admit. This is mostly due to a general lack of parts. I had to cannibalize two other old mocs just to get a consistent color scheme. But I still really like how she turned out.
And here are some comparisons with my old self-moc, Whatiri: Toa of Thunder.

Thanks! It was definitely an improvised element. I initially wanted to make a toa of gravity, but found that I had next to no purple pieces.
Then I realized I had one old moc with a lot of green, another old moc with a lot of gold, and plenty of silver pieces, and decided I could make something work.
And honestly I think I prefer what I got over what I initially wanted. Her insectoid ascetic is something I’m really fond of.
This is pretty cool, gives me g2 vibes.
