Something I have always wondered is the state on Brutaka’s mind by the end of the story. Was he the same Brutaka that we met on Voya Nui? Or was he something else.

When he encountered the Antidermis pool, he absorbed it into himself. At that point he gained a new appearance, new powers and new knowledge.
At this point was it even Brutaka anymore? Or a new being created as a fusion between him and the essence? Something neither Brutaka or Makuta but a perfect fusion of the 2.

He was still Brutaka, but he was sharing his mind with someone else, likely a basal Makuta consciousness.

I was more so thinking if their minds combined, not that they were controling him but acting an tandom. Like a new being that is a combination of the 2.
