We have one for MOCs, so why not one for actual sets?
Personally, I think metallic color schemes is one of the most overused aspects of Lego sets, even beyond Constraction.

minifigures.
You’d rather have Jack Stone?
Swords are overused. Some different weapon designs would be good. Thankfully Bionicle has been doing a good job of that, but bows and arrows and hammers are beginning to be the new swords!
nevermind, minifigures are ok
I must agree.
It works for some designs, but is aesthetically incoherent more often than not.
Vehicles with treads in the front and big wheels in the back. Or the other way around.
Walls, but not complete buildings.
Making most of the big action-adventure theme sets as vehicles instead of buildings
Most overused has to be any batman vehicle…
Why does every Batman vehicle have yellow
Scorpions for Stone sets.
His suit does contain a bit of it (usually).
hmmmm, yeah what @BioKnight said. is it bad that I want the village scene from episode 7 instead of the x-wing?
I get it Lego, it’s a good launcher, but shoehorning it into every set really doesn’t improve quality. Seriously,
The wookie ship didd it well and it looks good and works.
Not the case with many sets.
I actually got the second set for christmas, even though I didn’t ask for it is. Also, there is the new spring shooters that are also used a bit too much

Those stud shooters also caused the weapon in the middle on the new echo base ( I can’t remember what it is called) to look worse than its previous variant
