The rules are: You cant pick the obvious choices of Brutaka and Maxilos and Spinax, A titan is a large figure or creature no vehicles (this means that original Takanuva is disqualified), and it must be from Bionicle; I love witch doctor but he’s from hero factory. I would say that the best titan is Hydraxon.

I’m intrigued, where is that a unanimous obvious choice? Because I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere where it’s said either are “obviously the best titan”.
I don’t think I have a dog in the fight of best titan (nor do I really know where I start with that), but my favorite titan set was Sidorak. (Then again I only got into titans after the line ended, and he was the first BIONICLE titan I got.)

The reasons I have heard that Maxilos has a color scheme that matches the Cordak blaster and he has the waist articulation that everyone raves about. as for Brutaka he just has a cool color scheme and weapons as well as having the hidden knives or extra arms, I have heard many online say that he is one of the best Bionicle titans so I was under the consensus that it was extremely well known but I might have been wrong about that.

While I don’t own any, I think 2008 Takanuva looks awesome with a solid design and nice color scheme. Vezon and Fenrakk are good too, simply for the reason that they’re something unique (creature + rider).

Rotor from Hero Factory is my favourite Titan out of everything
Hydraxon is probably the best of G1, though I’ve never really given it much thought

As a recent Lhikan and Kikanalo owner, I think they take the cake! A legendary fire toa with gold armor, plus a new rahi beast that the metru builds can ride. Sold!
Runner up would be Vezon and Kardas (combiner I know but still counts right?)

I don’t really keep up with BIONICLE fan creators outside of some MOCists, so I wasn’t aware that was an opinion
Also not unaware people have been championing waist articulation again, I know that was a thing on MOCpages in 2013 (to the detriment of me making more consistent torsos)

I personally prefer keetongu in terms of the 05 titans but sidorak is also pretty good.

I love Skopio. It’s the closest we ever got to a Lego Transformer with good articulation.
