What is wrong with the YouTube comment system?

Well for me, you don’t see people’s profile pictures unless you can bring the “show more” down, and even then you don’t see the original commenter’s picture…

I think it’s fine. I love how there is no limit anymore to how much you can type.

My problem is the people who don’t allow you to reply to their comments. It drives me nuts whenever I see a comment on one of my videos which I’d love to respond to but for whatever reason the commenter has the ability to reply disabled.

I’m pretty sure it’s related to G+ settings. But yeah, it’s incredibly annoying. Especially since you can’t send Personal Messages anymore.

Actually you can it’s just buried under lots of menus.

You have to go to a channel then go to the about tab and then near the bottom next to the flag button is the send message button.
