Though I do some MOC’s
Dyson Fans, if they even make fans. But collector.
I’m a collector, even though my new collection has like 4 sets.
I was a hardcore MOCer back in the day. I kept my sets together for a week max, and then took them apart for pieces.
For BIONICLE’s return, I’m really struggling. I want to collect, I want to MOC, but I don’t know if I can afford to buy two of each set.
Yeah, I’ll probable keep them together for a month or so, then take them apart in order of favorites.
Well one thing I will say is that I’m not a Fanboy
Anyways I am mostly 100% a MOCer but I would like to keep the Toa Mata sets still build (that I am still rebuilding half of them) and my favorite still build. I do have most of my HF sets build because of this one reason… I have too much multiples of them.
Mainly a collector but I occasionally moc too. Normally I’ll build the sets, keep them around for a while intact and then take them apart. However, I don’t think I’ll moc that much anymore. The mocs that I still have must always remain still in that exact same pose in the shelf to due to cheap, breaking plastic.
I’m %90 a moccist. Usually when i get a set I build it, Display it for a week, then break it down and use its parts to make new characters.
I’m mainly a collector, although I did delve inte making mocs several years ago. Haven’t done any since then however.
A bit of both. What generally happens is I collect the sets to mess around with, then when they get old and I don’t really play with them anymore (usually thanks to the next wave of sets) I take them apart and use the parts for MOCing.
I buy sets and then buy actual parts later for MOCing so a bit of both.
Okay, I’ve decided how I’ll deal with this dilemma! I think I’m a MOCist first and foremost, so I’ll buy one of every set for MOCing. After that, I’ll start buying copies of each set for my collection!
Actually I’m a mix of both as I have a lot of extra Bionicle parts that I have fun with.
I own about 195 built sets out of the approximate 215 released and I have about 25 MOCs built with several currently in the works as I still have a fairly hefty collection of parts which grows little by little as I order more through Bricklink. =P
Yeah I think I’m both.
I keep the sets I really like/have a use for, but for the most part, I’m a moccist.

Wow. That is very impressive actually.
More a collector then a MOCcist. Though I’ll take apart some of the stronger sets and make MOCs from time to time.
I am definitely a Collector. Never really built to many MOCs in my time, mainly because I just dont like to take the sets apart. Never really used to consider myself a collector until one day I looked at all my sets and was like “Dang, thats a lot of sets”
