My most favorite build was when I built Keetongu. He was my first titian build so he became very memorable. My favorite Bionicle building year was 2006 because all the matoran had character as well as all the new shapes and colors and unique builds the Piraka and Inika as well as titian sets gave.
Well, brother, mine had to be Vezon and Fennrak. They where my first (and only) titan set, and I enjoyed building the main villain for 2006.
I still remember ToaKylerak and my other brother discussing who would get which titans. They settled who would get Axonn and Brutaka, but they bot argued who got Vezon and Fennrak. It turns out I got it.
Vezon and Kardas Dragon because not only could I build Vezon and Kardas, I could also build Axonn, Brutaka, and Vezon and Fenrakk. That’s a lot of builds.
Hm… most memorable? Hard to say. I recall greatly enjoying the construction of the Thornatus V9, so I’ll put that up there. Definitely one of my favorite BIONICLE sets.
if only Perditus was good
-Mesonak
That’s cool, it’s the titans that apperently gave us the most memorable moments.
Memorable, hm…
I would have to say Botar. Not necessarily the build, but the demolition.
Given the fact that Axonn belongs to my sister, and she demands that everything on him be put back, he was a real pain in the arse to tear down. Fun to build though.
In terms of actual building, though, I guess Tahu Mata was the most exciting, not very challenging to build but, I mean, he’s Tahu, how could I not be excited.
Revival for the sake of Takanuva. It and the Ussanui were my first major experiences with major Technic Builds, having only messed with some Bohrok and Kopaka and Onua Nuva prior.
Another big one was the Nivawk. I remember in 2005, when Keetongu came out, I still had Nivawk, and I combined the two of them into a winged four armed beast thing. It was pretty legit(except where it was terrible)
Most memorable for me was Vorahk (I think it’s spelled that way, the Hunger Rahkshi anyway). Because I still remember it as the set my dad helped me put together when I was 5. Favorite set though? Not sure. I really do like the Krekka set.
Umbra, cause friggin roller skates man, roller skaaaates.
Building 2 Keetongu’s in one day…with no instructions and just the box as a guide.
Well, kinda Hewkii Inika. He was my first BIONICLE set. I say “kinda” because I didn’t build him, just watched. My sister put him together for me, but even with that it was the most memorable build yet.
If I had to pick one for myself, it would be Vezon and Fenrakk, much like @Chronicler. He was just so big and menacing.
Gotta be the Boxor. I made a mistake or two the first time I built in, but once I figured out what was wrong, it was glorious. The way almost every piece is necessary for it to function is astounding.
My very first set was Vhisola. (Blue Metru Nui Matoran)
And my very first actual Toa was Onewa metru.
My first Titan was Sidorak.
First Villain was the red Vahki (I forgot his name)
My most memorable build was Nuparu Inika, I think it was because he’s the only set I remember building…
Reviving this topic to say that the Inika were my most memorable sets to build. I got them on Christmas morning in 2006. Those were the days…
@John_Smith basically described my events building the Boxor. I also liked building the Skopio.
Sadly, I never owned, and still don’t own, any titan sets. So my favorite to build was Mata Nui, purely for his story importance.
And if we are talking system, probably either Benny’s Spaceship or the 2015 Millennium Falcon.
If we’re talking Bionicle then-I’m not too sure. I guess I would say Korgot.
Hero factory: Witch Doctor
Normal Lego: ummm…I really like the Lego agents Lava base.
Either toa Ignika or Umarak the hunter. Both are sets I love so yeah
Onua (2001) was memorable, since he was my first BIONICLE.
Also memorable was Tahu (2001), which I built in 2014 while on holiday, after being lucky enough to find one unopened on eBay for only ÂŁ15!
Coincidentally, just after building Tahu the MoCr image was found on LEGO.com, confirming G2.
spooky amirite
Exo-Toa was memorable for me. It taught me techniques for building a large scale figure with technic connectors.
