Old thread but you definitely remembered correctly. Not all krana types can (safely) fit on McToran heads. Being made of rubber, you can definitely force it, but that’s not something I’m interested in trying. I owned a krana Xa as a kid that definitely didn’t want to work with my McToran. I own a few other variations now, but I’ve never tried them.

I just tried all eight types and they seemed to work fine. There was one that was kinda tight, but a different krana of the same type fit, so I suspect it’s a minor molding issue.
