What Would You Want In A New BIONICLE Movie?

A 2006 movie with Cumberbatch as Brutaka and Samuel Jackson as Axxon. Too bad Heath Ledger passed away, he would make a perfect vezon.

As long as THAT song from 2003 is in it, I’m fine with it

2006 is my favorite year, so loads of yes for a Voya Nui movie.

Wow, you’re the first person I’ve seen who didn’t like MNOG’s soundtrack.

I think the music of a BIONICLE film depends on the movie’s setting. Like if the film takes place in Metru Nui it should have an electronic score to represent the industrial feel of the island.

Dont forget the vahki remix.

something fresh and new for the series
definitely have Angelina jolie as gali
idris elba as tahu
vin diesel as onua
ken watanabe as kopaka
ben stiller as lewa
hughe jackman as pohatu

Obviously you have no sense of these characters. If every character is played by Nicholas Cage then it will be a masterpiece

If Robert Downey Jr. was in a BIONICLE movie, who would he play?

Kopaka

that’s tough. Maybe a Makuta… Mutran maybe? he seemed rather full of himself (Note: this is not bashing RDJ, I love everything he’s been in. He’s just really good at playing characters who are full of themselves.)

Tahu.

Think about it…

Tahu-Steve Blum
Kopaka-James Arnold Taylor
Lewa-David Tennant
Gali-???
Pohatu-Chris Pratt
Onua-Vin Deisel

Makuta-Benedict Cumberbatch
Ekimu-Michael Dorn
Narrator/Vakama-Christopher Gaze

The tone should be similar to Legends of Metru Nui and it should detail how the toa entered the island.

I’d go Tara Strong, just because she’s a really good voice actress, and I can see her being Gali, I mean, she’s been characters of all ages personalities and genders!

I’d love to have Tara Strong as Gali

It would be great is the movie would remind me and other of the Bionicle Movie from 2003 to 2005 instead of like 2009 Bionicle and Hero Factory episodes of the character just looking 100% like the sets.

As for voices:
Tahu - I think Scott McNeil should be the main voice actor for Tahu because his voice fits the most with Tahu and he is the only voice actor I could think of that would fit Tahu.
Lewa - Chris Pratt because from see him in the Lego Movie and guardians of the galaxy, I think he would be great as Lewa.
Kopaka - Hugh Laurie
Onua - I don’t know, someone with a deep voice
Pohatu - From seeing the short of Pohatu, I had to go with Manu Bennett because that voice was just way too lose to his.
Gali - Ashleigh Ball
Protector of Fire - Malcolm McDowell
(if we ever going to see him in G2)
Takanuva - Stephen Amell

Visual Style: I’d want the character models to blend Bayformers and the Miramax Trilogy’s style, retaining the basic design beats but being a lot more detailed in general. However, it would take more cues from TLR’s Mata Nui as far as the actual mask designs go.
Animated or Live-Action: Animated, definitely, but in a very realistic CGI style.

Actors: Depends on which set of Toa we’re looking at; for the Toa Mata and Metru I’d want them to keep the Mirimax Trilogy VAs. (Except for Onua; I’d want whoever played Kingsley Shacklebolt in the Harry Potter movies to play him.) For the Toa Mahri who didn’t show up in MoL or the G2 Toa, I’d want them to get new people. (Sean Bean as Matoro?)

Writers/Directors: Christopher Nolan? Greg Farshety and Christian Faber? JJ Abrams could also work, if it’s in Metru Nui. (Lens Flare!)

Soundtrack: Cryoshell working with Nathan Furst and the people who did the MNOLG soundtrack. There is no other way.

Story: Pretty much anything would be fine, G1 or G2, so long as it was written well.
